The door opened, catching Soobin's attention. He looked up to see his family and Yeonjun by their side smiling at him. 

"Mom, dad.." He whispered out, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. 

"Sweetie!" She yelled, running towards her son and giving him a tight hug, not tight enough to hurt Soobin's injuries. Soobin hugged her back, smiling widely. 

"Oh my days, are you feeling better?" She asked, separating the hug and gently held his face. Soobin nodded and gently took her hands off his face. 

"I'm recovering.. it was- o-of course traumatic.. but at least I survived." 

"My baby you're so strong.." She said, stroking his hair. 

Soobin looked at his dad who's standing beside his mom. "Dad-"

"I'm glad you're better now.. did you know how worried we were?" 

Soobin sighed a little and nodded with a smile. "Of course I know.. I'm sorry-"

"You don't have to be, it wasn't in your control. That ex of yours is sick in the mind." She said annoyed. 

Yeonjun stood near the door, leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets as he looked at his boyfriend spending time with his family. He smiled and quietly left the room.

Soobin flinched when he heard 3 knocks on the door. He puts down his book and slowly sat up straighter. 

"Come in?" He answered, looking at the door. It opened and revealed 2 officers and a doctor. He was definitely confused on why the officers are here. 

"Choi Soobin-ssi?" 

"Yes..?" 

"We want to have a talk with you, no harm, no suspecting, we just need to know what happened." One of the officer said with a small smile which did make Soobin felt relieved a little but still anxious about telling them the whole thing.

"Sure.." 

The officers came in and took chairs from around and sitting near Soobin's bed.

"Officers? If Soobin starts panicking, please do call me and please- don't make him stressed, he's not fully healed." The doctor informed, the officers nodded and the door soon closed.

"Okay.. Soobin? If this gets too much tell us alright?"

He breathed in and nodded. 

"So, was anything suspicious before he broke into your house?"

"Yea.. I received unknown texts, calls- trying to threaten me and after few weeks of that, I always had a feeling someone was following me. Few more weeks after, the person following me didn't even try to make it not obvious.. I could see someone dressed in all black or dark colors following me everywhere I go."

The officers nodded, taking notes down. 

"What is your relationship with him?" 

Soobin sighed out. "M-my ex.. he was psychotic, toxic, abusive, manipulative- anything you can name.. thus I broke up with him."

"I see.. can you tell me in details on your relationship with him last time?" 

Soobin hesitated and felt a lump in his throat as his eyes started to water. All the unwanted memories came rushing back in him. 

Silence.

"Soobin-ssi? Are you okay?" 

"Y-ye-" He groaned out and grabbed his head in pain.
