Chief POV
It's been six years since Cody went missing. Things haven't been the same since.
Cade, Graham, and Dani hardly speak. The bots, mostly Heatwave, have been very distant. And I've, well, I've become somewhat silent myself.
After that rescue six years ago, we had come home to find neither Cody nor NightFang. We tried the comm. link, but all we got was static. We went up to his room, but we found it completely empty. His clothes, a blanket, pictures; gone. All that was left was his bed and other furniture.
When we found this out, I had a search and rescue party to search the whole island and twenty miles out to sea. They came back a few days later, empty-handed.
That was six years ago.
Ever since that day, nothing has been the same since.
Though we still do rescues, we don't put as much enthusiasm as we use to. Not even Doc Greene or Frankie act the same.
I wish I had my youngest son back.
All of a sudden, the kitchen lights flickered as lightening lit up the skies.
I sighed. This is usually the type of weather that drags a lot of rescues in with it. The phone should be ringing in 3...2...1.
RING!
Knew it.
I answered the phone. It was the Mayor. Lightening had struck a tree and fell. It caught the grass on fire and the fire had surrounded the mansion. But it hadn't touched the house, yet.
I hung up the phone and called the team into the garage. After I told them the situation, we departed to save yet another life.

Unknown POV
I was flying around the Griffin Rock Mountain with my partner. Yes I knew it was storming, but my partner loved flying in storms.
It had been years since I was last here. I regret leaving my family, but I believed it was the best thing to do. After sometime away, I thought it was time to return.
I snapped out of my thoughts when my partner yelled, "Fire!"
I looked up to indeed see a fire around the Mayor's house. I may not want to face my family yet, but there was a life in danger. Besides, I was raised with a family of heroes, so it's basically in my blood to help someone in need.
I looked to the screen to see the face of my partner.
"Come on, 'Fang, we need to help."
She roared in acknowledgement as she beat her wings faster to get to the raging inferno.

Chief POV
We had managed to get the mayor and his wife out of the house, but we couldn't put out the fire. It was slowly inching its way closer to the mansion. And the lack of rain we've been having lately wasn't helping at all.
Graham ran up to me. "Dad, we can't put the fire out. Not even with Cade, Heatwave, and Blade's help. There's just to much flames."
I sighed. The mayor will probably blame us for not saving his house.
Dani suddenly yelled out. "Hey guys, look!"
At about that time, a roar rang out over the storm.
We look up only to have a lot of water dumped on us. Steam and smoke rose up as the fire was extinguished.
When it all cleared, we saw a black and white robotic dragon. With it, stood a young man with blonde hair, combat boots, a brown jacket with fake fur around the collar, and an Autobot insignia on the left shoulder. My family and the boys shared a look of shock as the boy gave us a smile full of joy and regret. It couldn't be.
After a few minutes of silence, I finally spoke.
"Cody?"
