Eddies pov
Band practice ended. A nother great practice, i must say we came a long way.
Gareth and i talked about going to his house and play Mario Kart.
There were plans for a d&d night but Luther's grandmother celebrates her birthday and somehow jeff has a date (no one believed him at first).
We said our goodbyes with the rest of our bandmates and headed outside.
"did anything happen with you and y/n, you both seems Distante, i think distante is the wrong word, you are straight up ignoring each other, it seems like there are bad vibes, between you two" Gareth says we are now standing outside of Jeff's Garage. It's warm outside but it won't last, those late summer Temperatures are gonna go in a month or so, i like the thought of it, cold weather, so cozy in warm Sweater and warm tea.
One thing i don't like is the conversation i'm having with Gareth,why does he have to talk about this right now?
"Not as far as i can tell," i play dumb, something i'm good at. By now we walked at the end of property, on to the Street that will lead us to Gareths home, which is a 15 minute walk.
As kids we used to walk this road so often, every small crack on the floor we are walking on, is familiar to us.
"Munson, don't lie to me" Gareth grunted.
There no way i can escape it, as much as i'd love to.
He's right, of course he is right, Gareth is my best friend and i'm his best friend, he knows when i lie and to be fair, it's his cousin, i have to say more then that, even if it makes me feel uneasy.
"Okay, well we were a bit flirty" those where the words i settled on telling him. What a good way to tell him i kissed her without telling him! (i mean this in a sarcastic way).It wasn't a good way, probably didn't even made it clear to him that i kissed his cousin. But those are the words that my non existing courage makes me say.

I continue
"But it felt wrong to do that, so i started to ingnore her, because i didn't wanted to mess with our friendships, i mean remember when you were worried with me keeping secret from you, the secret is i like her"
"How well did that end up? With the way you both act it's like you're running away from each other, you kind of messed up already, not with me, but definitely with my cousin"
"Yeah i know" i murmur and look at the ground like a little child.
Gareth Puts his hand on my shoulder and looks me in my eyes "Munson, i wouldn't be against you two dateting. Unless you don't use her or break her heart. I mean i can see how miserable you both are. Be a fucking Gentleman, i know you can be one, be nice to her and we won't be in troubel, alright?"
My agreement stuck in the air and happiness unfold itself into my mind.
At this moment i choose that i would make her my girl. I have to apologize for my behavior first, that's not gonna be easy, i know i don't have the guts to do that, fuck.
The rest of our Conversation was about band practice. Gareth liked the way, i put some words to the newest song, we are working on, but i think it still needs some working.
The topic about making a Demo ep came up agian, we talked about that it could be something that we could show a producer or something we could atleast put out on the internet and be a indie band for a while.
We the soon enough arrived at his home.
A gorgeous house, with three storeys which consists of a basemant(the same old basemant me and Gareth got high for the first time ever, a moment that i will never forget),the first floor and second floor, a Garage, four bedrooms (there is a room for Gareths Parents, his sister, his own room, the fourth room is a guest room) and two bathrooms.
Thats the place Gareth disappeard to, the Toilette. I wander around his house. Do to my boredom i count the plants in the room, nine in total, they are making this room feel more comftorbil. I know i couldn't have any plants at home, i do not have green thumb, well i could settle on plastic ones, i suppose.
There are noises coming from the kitchen. Probably Gareth, i didn't even realise he got there, i decided to walk inside.
Shocked at the Person i'm seeing.
Not Gareth.
"What are you doing here?" I asked the girl in the red Pyjama pants.

Hi i'm back! so sorry it took me so long with this chapter, bc i have my new phone since last week but then i had a lot of Stuff going on in school+ i got sick(well i still am).
But i trie to write more.
