3RD POV

(MONTHS PASSED)

The bright sun rose high above the sky, while the leaves swayed in the bristling wind. For the last two months the temperature gradually became colder. Koyou and Vivian decided to move into a different home. They thought that living in a stone cave wasn't the best.

By home, Vivian casted a new home using her magic. Their new home had two stories with four bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There was a tall three story tower and greenhouse. What's unique about their home is that the house runs off from Vivian's mana. Fire, water, and ice everything runs off of her mana.

Vivian spent her morning picking berries with Salem, who had arrived two hours ago.

As she held a basket in her right arm Vivian saw a shadow looming over her. She turned to see who blocked the light and saw her husband Koyou. He stood behind her with a smile on his face. She saw his gentle ocean blue eyes looking at her.

"Koyou?"

Vivian stood up, placing the basket on the ground. She saw his body come closer as he then had his large arms wrap her around a big hug.

"I'll be back at noon. Promise to stay with Salem." Koyou said before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright" Vivian said, nodding.

Koyou left soon to exchange goods in the bear tribe. Usually, when Koyou leaves Vivian would be the only one left at home. But now since Salem was here, it made Koyou feel less worried, having someone by her side.

She waved goodbye to Koyou as he transformed into his panther form. She and Salem watched from a distance as Koyou ran into the forest. His running figure began to slowly fade in the distance.

(TIME PASSED)

Hours passed, the two of them decided to venture out the woods. Although Vivian remembers Koyou restricting her to go deep into the forest. He did say earlier to stay by Salem's side. Which was good enough for her and that didn't at all break her promise to him.

"I'm all set, let's go" she said.

She sat on top of Salem, who was in his jaguar form. He ran through the forest and she felt the breezy wind flowing through her skin. Everywhere she looked Vivian saw trees and mushrooms growing.

Salem stopped at the big oak tree in the middle. Walking through the forest felt like a maze, and it was easy to get lost. Vivian heard tiny echoes of animals' little footsteps in the forest. The forest was a wonderful place with all the overgrown plants, where things grow no matter the conditions.

Vivian jumped down off Salem and instantly he transformed back into his beastmen form. She gave him clothing for him to wear, making Salem smile. He grabbed the clothing off her hands to wear on his body.

Once they reached the middle of the big oak tree, she saw lots of different berries on large green bushes. Flowery vines were wrapped around the trees like they were making a cozy green canopy.

Vivian saw many different critters and bugs crawling around. They began walking towards the bushes as they began to harvest some berries. Vivian is planning to make some jelly and syrup out of the berries. Since the temperature was getting colder as the days passed, stocking up on some berries would be great.

An hour passed and they had collected over two big bags filled with berries. Vivian decided to sit down under the oak tree to rest. Collecting berries is tiring, especially plucking out individual ones at a time.
