I am sure I am not going insane, but maybe I am. I tap my fingers on the steering wheel in a rhythmic pattern. I poked the inside of my cheeks with my tongue, scrutinizing the whole scenario that unfolded in front of me.

The train of thoughts blurring my mind starts to form into a burning sensation as my head throbbed. The pain in my chest claws my heart, tearing every piece of it. Oh how i’d do anything to hold her in my arms again, hear her  voice which is laced with honey. One look in those dreamy eyes. Make love till we pour every ounce of our feelings.  I miss this, I miss us.

I shook my head, i couldn’t even buy my coffee. I sighed soon after reaching my office building. I parked my car and got out of it. Looking at my watch, I increased my pace as I sprinted towards the building sliding through the door. I greeted everyone with a small good morning as I entered the elevator.

“Mr. Choi, Good morning!” I flinched slightly as someone jerked me out of my running thoughts. I looked at the person and my lips turned into an already tired but greeting smile. “Good morning, Mr. Park, how are you?” Mr. Park’s smile shone through the dimly lit elevator as he wore a well fitted blue suit. I have always admired him for his work and definitely for his physique. “I am fine! But you look kinda good, everything's good” Mr. Park raised one eyebrow. “oh everything’s good i just have a little bit of a headache” a deep chuckle came from my throat.

“I have some medicines, do you want some?” I waved my hand in dismiss at his questions as he nodded his head. “So I originally wanted to say there is someone you should meet!” my eyebrows furrowed as i looked at him in confusion. “Me? Who?” The elevator stopped at my floor as we both stepped out.

We entered my office as he disclosed about the person I should meet. “She is the owner of grace jewels, leya grace, she wants to do a joint partnership, her company is settled in america” i look at him in surprise as he continues speaking about the details. “Wow! I would love to meet her then” a smile masked my lips. “Sure! I'll ask her when she will arrive and I'll inform you” he nods before making the phone call and stepping out of my office.

I plop on my chair, heaving a relieved sigh. I definitely need some coffee. I pick up my office phone as I call someone to bring in coffee. Suddenly another thought troubled my nerves. Ivan marshal. I opened my phone to look through the news. I read through the article. A murder? Who will murder him? I shouldn’t be thinking that but deserved, that bastard ruined so many lives. No one knew the criminal charges he had. Thought i would use them against him at the right time but I guess fate has its own plan.

I read the last line, and my expression turned into disdain. The fuck? Kai marshal is the new head of the marshal textile. That psychotic bitch. Whoever decided this is totally out of their damn mind. So I am now competing directly with him. A lump formed in my throat, the lengths this man can go to accomplish his goals are very dangerous.

An invisible fist just grabs my neck and squeezes it tightly trapping the air in my lungs whenever I remember the day vivi was lying on the floor bruised up and I ran to her unconscious body and cradled her in my arms taking her to the hospital. My heart bled as I saw the corner of her lips bleed. My face covered in a river of my tears as I prayed to god for her. The only words that spiraled my head were “stay with me vivi, please stay with me”

“How is she, doctor?” i asked between my hiccups, my face all red from crying

“She is ok! But she has been beaten badly!” The words that came out of his mouth boiled my blood as I never stopped throwing my punches, almost killing her step brother Kai that day, because only he is the one that can hurt her.
