The royal scientist, Asriel Dreemurr, was creating something. He was in the true lab, doing something for his majesty, KING PAPYRUS . . . - but deep inside, selfishly doing something for himself- but mostly for the king. He had been studying his theories on artificially created lifeforms, in the mere hopes to create a monster with the power of 7 human souls. Asriel thought that the idea that they would be able to collect all 7 was dumb, and out of desperation, he was trying to create a monster with the ability to break the barrier. The barrier was the only thing stopping the monsters from being on the surface, where the humans lived. A long time ago, humans and m9nsters lived together in harmony, but the humans feared the monsters ability to absorb human souls. A war broke out between the two, and the humans were victorious, with not a single human soul lost, and so many monsters dusted, because one human soul was more powerful then a bunch of monster souls. But besides that, he was also creating it, or better yet, 'her', with his physical features. He wasn't just making a monster with the power of a god. . . No. . . He was creating himself a daughter. Someone to love, someone to care for, someone to help him. . . And she (should this work) was almost done! He was finishing creating her soul, and, since most of his experiments never worked the first time, he didn't see any harm in injecting her soul with a red substance . . . DETERMINATION. To his surprise, the soul accepted it. But little did he know what he had truly done. . .
3 WEEKS LATER
Asriel Dreemurr journal entry 1:
"I've done it. She is complete! All that is necessary to do is combine her soul with her body. As thus far, everything has worked according to plan, I'm giving this a 60% chance to work. I don't want to be too sure of myself. . . And god forbid anything goes wrong. . . That would be an issue in my hands. . ."

He slowly walked over to a large machine, which contained the not yet alive body of the monster he was creating. He cautiously, and fearfully, flipped a switch to combine the soul with his creation's body. A pink glow fills the room, and It's suddenly quite hot in the room. So bright in fact, that Asriel had to Look away and cover his eyes. When the light faded, he turned around, to see the soul gone. And not only that, he looked up at a monitor, seeing that a heart beat was visible! The soul was accepted, and the body was functioning.
A pair of drowsy yet firey pink eyes slowly opened up, and stared at the baffled Asriel. It was a child. No, *his*child. His child that he would take care of . . . His "Toriel".
