Long ago an enormous tree suddenly grew out of nowhere until it touched the sky. Many people wondered what to do with it, but when different people started to climb it they discovered a tower that lay on top of the tree. The tower seems to have around 100 floors, each floor contains a clue to the tree and the tower. But a century had passed and over a hundred thousand people had entered but never returned.

Through the years they discovered that a King lived at the top of the tower. No one knew who the king was but rumors spread like wildfire, that if you reached the 100th floor you would be granted anything you had ever wanted and the ability to leave and reenter the tower at will.

But it seems like someone had already made it to the top. No one knew who and what they did but the King had promised them something that they can't remember so they are heading back to the top once again to seek out what it was and why they can't remember.

A random groan was heard as someone sat up. This person has messy chestnut hair and wears a baggy white jumper and another red one around his waist.

"Ugh, where am I?" The person asked they scouted the area carefully. It was pitch black, with nothing around but shadows and echoes that hung to each wall. The stranger got up and steadied himself, then suddenly a bright light appeared from the ground leading a pathway for the stranger. They shrugged to themself and followed aimlessly towards the path.

Each step echoed after the last, no other sound could be heard. The lights stopped at a mirror which the stranger looked into. His hazel eyes pierced at his back startling him a bit but carried on staring. A few words appeared around the mirror.

"Welcome, to the tower" The words spelt, this amazed the stranger. But this made the stranger question everything that had happened up till now.

"Hey! Talking mirror!" The stranger yelled his voice echoing through the room, "Where am I!?"

"This is the tower and call me Geoul" The mirror spelt

"Well Geoul! What is the tower?" The stranger asked

The mirror wrote down the history of the tower and the tree.

"Huh really? So this is the tower?" The stranger questioned

"Yes" Geoul answered

"Hey, do you know who I am?" The stranger asked

"I will look through the recent database and see if there is anyone that looks like you," Geoul wrote and started searching. Pictures of different people showed up with their names. "I have looked through the database and I have found a match. A man named Misaki Yata came up in the database looking like you" It wrote.

A picture that looks identical to the stranger appeared on the screen of the mirror. "Misaki Yata...? That's who I am?" He whispered to himself, "Hold on isn't Misaki a girl's name? Why am I named after a girl? ... All well I can't change that now"  and then a huge grin grew on his face "But this is going to be fun!"

Then a sharp pain snatched his grin off his face, the pain attacked his head the most making him crouch down and hold his head low. It was like a sharp blade was piercing into his head. Memories swarmed into his mind of a boy who had black messy hair, wore glasses, and had blue eyes.

"ARGH!!! WHAT WAS THAT!?!?" Yata yelled as he asked, "Who was that...?" He quickly stood up, "All well nevermind hey Geoul can I enter the tower"

"Yes but before I send you I have a message from the King," Geoul wrote

"Who's the King?" Yata asked

"The King is the creator of this tower and lives at the top of the tower. He created this tower with an old friend" Geoul wrote, "The message is: Remember the promise Misaki"

"Remember the promise? What promise?" Yata asked looking annoyed at Geoul

"I do not know what promise it is but do your best. Goodbye, Misaki Yata" The Mirror said its goodbyes and shone a bright blinding light at Yata who shielded himself from the light with his arms.
