As they entered the portal, a dim purple light took them to a new place. It was a meadow that went for yards, "Whoa!" Yata yelled in amazement the trio appeared above a cliff giving everyone a beautiful view of the place. Yata stared at the view and noticed a blue sky hanging above them, "Hey why is there a sky in here?"
"Because each stage is its dimension pocket, it projects a different world each floor you go to" Saruhiko answered, Yata immediately looked back at Saruhiko with wide eyes, "What's the matter?"
"You are so cool! You are so smart too! Amazing Fushimi!" Yata said with stars shining in his eyes
"Umm yeah," Fushimi said looking away
Suddenly a hologram of a human appeared and was holding a red umbrella, this human had white hair and amber eyes. "Welcome everyone to the tower," He said, "My name is Yashiro Isana, but call me Shiro for short, I am the guide to the next floors. So it is a pleaser to meet you"
"Huh?" Yata muttered looking at Shiro, "That guy just appeared out of nowhere"
"It's just a hologram he can't do much while as a hologram," Saruhiko said
"Oh okay!" Yata said
"To enter the next floor you have to get to the end of this meadow," Shiro said, "That's all but you can't begin until the timer over there has reached 0" Shiro pointed to a timer that hovered above them, "Start" Shiro said and the timer started to count down from 1:00 to 0:59. "Alwo a quick heads up be warned there are enemies and a few traps up ahead. That's all I will see you all at the exit. Bye" He waved and the hologram disappeared.
Everyone started getting ready to run for it. Slowly but steadily the timer went down.
"Hey Aya give me my bat," Yata said extending his hand to her
"Fine" Aya opened up her PDA and gave him the bat. "You better not hit me with it!"
"I won't" Yata muttered looking at the weapon in his hands. It felt familiar to hold but he didn't understand why.
It finally reached 0 and a loud alarm blasted which made everyone go.
"Here I go!" Yata yelled and ran with the crowd not waiting for the others. He wasn't going to stop he had a mission. To meet the King.
The run was long but for some reason silent. Yata quickly looked around him to find no one near him anymore. "Where did everyone go?" Yata asked himself, "No time to stop I have to make it!" He carried on his run, it felt too long, or was the exit that far away? He quickly looked again and noticed a light mist around him. Out of instinct, he swung his bat around. It wouldn't go, what was happening? He didn't know what to do.
He then noticed another person slowly running in his direction, readying his bat and getting into an attack position just in case. The person's appearance was shone and he noticed who it was.
"Hey, Fushimi!" Yata yelled and waved, Fushimi silently tsked and walked over to Yata
"What do you want?" Fushimi asked
"Do you know what this mist is?" Yata asked
"If you stay in it too long it will engulf you and you will start hallucinating" Fushimi answered
This startled Yata then grabbed Fushimi's hand, "Let's get out of here quickly then!" And started running
"What are you-!?" Fushimi watched the smaller male then just kept up with his pace, "You are hopeless"
"Huh!?" Yata looked at Fushimi and then continued running, Fushimi grew a small smile as he ran.
"Don't worry about it" Fushimi whispered
