Love on Accident

Chapter 4

I breathed a sigh of relief, before turning around. My eyes filled with concern as they looked at the girl in front of me, "Are you okay?" I asked, stepping forward and placing a gentle hand on her arm

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little scary when he's drunk" She looked up, her eyes slightly glossy and my heart broke for her

I used the hand that was on her arm to pull her in for a hug, as I felt her arms wrap tightly around my waist. In that moment, it felt right, "Hey it's okay" I whispered

After awhile, we pulled away from the hug, "I should probably get home" She whispered trying to avoid my eyes

I looked out of my window to see that it was still pouring, "Stay here. It's raining and dark. We have a spare room, and I've already given you clothes"
"Are you sure?" She asks
"Yeah, it's not safe for you to walk out there on your own" I tell her
"Thank you"

I led Harley to the spare room, trying to keep my nerves together, it was a decent sized room, decorated nicely, with by far the most comfiest bed in the house.

"Here you go" I said, opening the door and letting her go through before following her in

"Thank you Kelsey" She said looking slight up at me

"Anytime Harley" I replied

"Is there anything else you need?" I ask

"No I'm alright thanks"
"Alright well, you know where my room is if you need anything" I paused and looked at her, god she was beautiful

"Goodnight Harley"

"Goodnight Kelsey"
I smiled before walking out and closing the door behind me. As I walked back down the corridor to my room, I could still hear faint chatter of my parents guest downstairs. I make it back to my room and collapse on the bed. After laying in bed for what feels like hours, I finally drift off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of shouting. What the fuck is going on? I heard crying and a loud voice, Theo's? Oh no.

I jumped out of bed and opened my door quietly. I listen to the voices, Theo and...Harley.

"Why won't you?" He shouted, why won't she what?

"Because baby I'm not in the mood please stop" My eyes went wide, shit

"Why the fuck am I even with you, you're always so frigid"
I clenched my jaw, I swear to god I will kill him, "I'm sorry baby, I'll do it" I heard her say quietly

Oh no you won't. I walked quickly from my room to Theo's and burst in. I didn't care what I was possibly about to walk in on. I swung the door open, my eyes going wide when I see Harley, stood in the center of Theo's room in her bra and underwear, oh wow.

"What the fuck Kelsey?!" I heard Theo say angry

I shook my head, tearing my eyes away from Harley. I didn't think this through, I didn't want to get beaten up, but I also didn't want her to do something she didn't want to do. I looked at Theo, he was sat on his bed in his boxers, his eyes slightly squinting. Great he was still drunk.

Fuck it, "I'm taking Harley home"
"No you're not" He replied, standing up

"Yes I am, you're drunk and you're being a dick, I'm taking her home" Theo stood up like he was about to do something, I guess he was too tired though, as he just swore a few times before sitting back down and turning around

I looked at Harley, she looked like she was about to cry, "Come on" I said, stepping forward and gently taking her hand

I grabbed the sweats she was wearing off the floor and led her out of his room. Shutting the door quietly behind me.

"How are you going to take me home?" She asked, her voice slightly cracking

"I'm not, come on" I whispered, taking her to my room and shutting the door

I handed her the clothes back, gesturing her to put them on. After she had put them on, I saw her wipe her eyes.

"Can I hug you?" I whispered, stepping forward slightly

"Yes please"
That's all I needed to hear. I stepped forward, pulling her into my chest and wrapping my arms tightly around her

"Thank you" She muttered, leaning her head on my chest

And for the second time tonight, I was hugging her.

"Are you tired?" I ask

She nods her head against my chest, "You can sleep in here, I'll go to the guest room" I say

"No!..I mean your bed is big enough for the both of us" She says
"Okay" I say

I climbed into my bed, as Harley did the same. What have I just agreed to? I took a deep breath before turning around to face Harley. Instantly my eyes met hers, "Thank you again" She said looking down at her hands

"You don't need to thank me" I replied

There was a couple minutes of silence before I broke it, "You don't have to have sex with him you know" I said, looking at her

"I know" She replied, looking up at me, meeting my eyes once again, "But I want to"
"You want to because YOU want to or because he wants it and you want to make him happy?" I said quietly, she turned away and laid down

"Good night Kelsey" She replies simply

"Goodnight Harley" I reply back, letting it go

I laid down. She hadn't responded to my question but I knew the answer. I sighed and closed my eyes, and found myself drifting of almost instantly. It had been a long night.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside and I checked my clock, 9:34 am.

I looked next to me to find an empty bed, where's Harley? I got up and went downstairs quietly, still half asleep. As I was about to walk into the kitchen I heard talking.

"I'm sorry baby, I love you. I'll be a better boyfriend"

I peaked my head out around the door and saw Theo and Harley stood there. He had his hands on her waist, while she wrapped her hands around his neck and brought his head down to kiss him.

I cringed.

So this is what he does. He does something shitty and gets her to forgive him by giving a fake ass apology. I watched them kiss as a disgusted look appeared on my face.
