The sunlight hit Charlis beautifully as she yawned herself awake, she looked to her side to see Sora already away from his sleeping spot. Charli did a sigh as she stretches and lifted herself on her two feet. "Sora?" The ginger called with a ring. When there was no response, she decided to go around and look herself.
Charli had looked around as much as she could but couldn't see her blue haired friend anywhere, she did spot something else though, someone else...They had their back turned towards Charli so the first thing that stood out most was their white hair that almost looked like a shaggy Wolf cut. Second noticeable thing was that they were cradled in a ball of their own arms and legs. Charli obviously never learned how to not touch random things she saw because before she knew it, she was grabbing his hair and playing in it while in her own little trance. This causes the snowy haired boy to look up at her slowly and wide-eyed, when his head finally turned to face her, they jumped in surprise from who it is.
Charli snaps out of her trance and looks embarrassed. "I'm so sorry! You haired just looked really fluffy and uh- oh my gosh this is embarrassing; I was looking for--" She rambles before seeing that her words made the boy seem even more confused. The orange brunette cleared her throat; "Hi! ha-ha...I'm uh Charli." She spoke, getting a clear look at Luca caused a fuzz in her brain but nothing that told her why they seemed so familiar.
"I'm Luca..." The fluffy haired boy said as they almost completely lowered their guard at the sight of the girl. "Luca? That's a nice name." she replied. The two sat in silence, comfortable, awkward, familiar silence. How do you start a conversation with someone you just met? At least that was Charli's thoughts that kept her silent...Luca on the other hand had the feeling they knew exactly who she was, like a memory of a childhood friend.
"What are you doing alone out here?" Charli said, breaking the silence, "Thinking, there isn't much else to do." Luca responded bluntly. Charli did a small gasp as if she was offended in a way, "There is plenty to do! Like....uhm......pick flowers!" she defended terribly. "Did that" the boy replied quick, making Charli pout as she thought of more things, "Plant flowers? Water flowers? Have a personal musical concert? make animal friends? Explore everywhere and anywhere you can?" she continuously suggested which eventually made the white-haired chuckle in amusement. "Okay, maybe they're some things to do" They admitted.
Charli looked satisfied with herself for proofing a point. "What were you thinking about anyways?" she asked tilting her head in curiosity.
Luca stayed silent than took a deep breath, Charli thought they were holding a fart, or a cough.
"I know this may sound weird, but I was alive before this, and I died but I'm not dead" they said quick and speedy. Charli smiled "Me too!!...but that doesn't answer my question-" Luca sighed in mild relief at Charlis similar situation. "I've been thinking of how I died and why and I think I'm in a bit of a spiral because now I'm just have random..."Deja vu" moments.... you know?" They said, hoping Charli would connect with them on that too.
They were instead met with a conflicted, almost weirded-out look by the brunette. "Who in the right mind would want to think about that?!?" She said with a bit of a distressed tone. Luca shrugged, "I guess me? I can't, can't, think of it!" they answered pouty.
Another moment of silence, then remembering, "Oh! Have you seen a blue haired male?! His name's Sora he's my friend- I think, I just met him but he's the only person I really know around here so I'm going to call him my friend..." She continued to ramble in grave detail about her 'Missing' blue friend, Luca just listened without a word to interrupt her (mainly because they were taking all the info about this person they could get).
"Uh...No, no I have not seen anyone at that description." A light lie they told and a pout was placed on the girls face. "Oh...alright then, well I should keep searching...goodbye for now Luca!" She piped after the slight disappointment. On the plus side, she might see new things now that she is determined to find Sora.
Luca waved bye as so did she, she skipped away to keep looking for Sora elsewhere, keeping the memory of a new friendly person she found for future times.
