𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀 is a singer-songwriter born on July 13, 1998, in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Park Jaehyun, is the F1 Ferrari Team Principal; her mother, Park Eunji, is a ex-model.

At age 7, Park started taking vocal and acting lessons in New York City and later decided to shift her focus toward music, inspired by 2ne1 and BIGBANG.

When the rising star was around 8 years old, a friend of hers named Alison Brown taught her to play guitar and helped with her first efforts as a songwriter, leading Nova to write "Fearless", her first song ever.

In 2007, her family flew to South Korea to visit some family for the holiday and she got interested in auditioning to become a professional singer. Out of all the companies she decided to audition for, she decided "Big Hit Music". Why? Because Bang shi hyuk was the nicest to her out of all the staff in different companies she had visited, not caring it was a broke company at the time.

She auditioned with her first song ever made by her, "Fearless", that was when Bang PD realized he had to help the little blonde girl with her guitar.

A month later from the auditions, Big Hit returned to her with the best news a 9 year old could have ever gotten, telling Nova her dream was about to come true, but asking her to return to Korea not for just 2 months, for a long period of time.

Of course, at first it was hard for a little girl to reflect that she was now living with her family, but not her parents.

But she didn't care, since her dream was coming true.
