Prologue

The night was cold and the snow was falling heavily. She had been running for miles and was so tired, but she made it to her destination. Belchertown United Church of Christ. A wide grin grew on the young girl's face as she entered, the warm air blowing her way as the large doors were pushed open. Her legs shook as she made her way to the rectory. Hopefully the priest would be there. The nave was eerily quiet and she liked it. 

She knocked on the door to the rectory, a wide smile spread across her face. "Hey there, father. I don't want to bother you but I have a sin to confess~" She said, almost in a seductive purr. She was quoting a song. It was intentional. 

Father Damian opened the door and stepped out, leading her to the confession area. He sat in his cubical while she sat in hers. He didn't look at her, or speak. She knew what she had to say, so she said it while still purring. "What have you done, Miss Beth?" Just then, his curtain slid open and she stood in front of him, smirking.
