Eva Luna laid motionless in her hospital gown, her pale skin glimmering in the yellow florescent lights and her cheeks sunken. Dr. Sunshine loomed over bed, his face vacant of any emotion. He examined her body, the tips of his fingers gently grazing her face before he leaned in a gave her one final kiss.

He then gently removed the pillow from under her head, raised it over her, and placed it on her face. She began to stir in her sleep, unconsciously kicking and punching at Dr. Sunshine, in attempts to keep living. To keep going on in spite of being in a coma. When she went limp, Dr. Sunshine let go of the pillow and tucked it back under her delicate head. Soon after, the heart monitor started to go off, making a deafening sound. He gingerly held her hand in his before breaking down into a crying mess.

The other doctors quickly came to Eva Luna's side, doing everything possible to bring her back to life. All while Dr. Sunshine was gripping on to the wall, kneeling down and crying into his own legs. He was trembling, unable to hold his own, he quickly leaned onto his friend Marshall, welcoming his warm embrace. At the moment he stuffed his face into Marshall's coat, a small smile crawled onto his face.
