Chapter 1. Usual meetings and business ends

Night began to shown out on the big town of little old Ponyville. Towns of markets began to close up on the ending of the day. To meet their loved ones possibly. But that was different for a boutique that was left opened doors for anypony or anything. As an aqua greenie coating dashed in through said door. With crimson yellow colour eyes widening in worry hoping to not be late. Before long did they hear a familiar sound of someone coming over. " Hello Darling, I hope you're not worried about me forgetting about our get together!. Sure I've been busy thanks to my lovely costumers for ordering and buying things. But I always check my calendar to check that I have not missed anything. "As a white coated unicorn mare stated in elegance and confidence. When welcoming the other unicorn to join her in the kitchen. Before long did they sigh in relief " Oh thank Celestia that you've still opened...I was worried I was keeping you waiting. "They'd stated in a kinder boyish mannered tone. The white unicorn smiled when hearing their response as they began to flick their right hove amongst replying. " Oh it's quite alright dear, as I believe you both have an eventful life till now. Mentioning about her, how has she been dealing with this summer? As I heard it was going to be rather a hot day "when blue eyes looked over at the other mare who smiled with a little embarrassed tone. " Oh umm she's not exactly happy with the heat as it seems that the icing was melting rather quickly then usual today. Thus I stayed by to help her get them out on time by getting pinkie to help with some kind of cooler bag thing. " she admitted rather quickly but also laid back about the situation. That white hove went down to the ground again when stepping around with her head signalled to follow her into the kitchen area, which she followed after with sounds of hooves walking through a smooth flooring. " well sounds like you had quite the day then. Whilst I was mainly in here trying to sell off the outfits and doing my daily chores. Also Sweetie belle wont be here tonight due to her friends welcoming her to a sleepover at Applejack's place " she stated in confidence, along with her walking over to her table that was covered by a smooth white cloth blanket with a jar of roses. " oh come on rarity, you also have business that is on the regular for full on days. And I'm pretty sure that heat washed over everyone else too. Though I'm curious if you know about our house oder recently! As lately we have been smelling something revolting growing recently. Do you think fluttershy might be able to check? Just worried that a mouse or rat could be the cause...but if not then I understand why as she loves her animals from what I understand " words spoken on cheerfully when being perhaps modest and understanding. Perhaps get some pony who knows a thing or two about finding the source and go from there. Perhaps tell me how long it's been going on for as I believe it could give you all a headache or worse dizzy spells from the oder " she explained slowly but was caught off guard by the statement that probably peered out from her voice. They'd nodded respectfully and began talking on about it with slightly less cheer now addressing in seriousness. "Well you see here, it only started to happen at I think two weeks ago from what I remember...but that could also mean that if it's something decaying, has been there for quite some period of time. Meaning it could be invested now as well " the aqua mare said when rubbing their left hove underneath her chin when trying to recall the first time it started to get noticeable. Rarity would eventually stir up the teas with eyes lowered upon concentration. " hmm...I say that you might have an infestation of sorts, though it hasn't made any noticeable changes in your behaviour? As in irritable,migraines and so on " she stated in a calming tone, walking away from the bench to sit with them. She'd looked at her blankly when trying to process any memories of said signs. Did she see rarity placed down the teas to the table, as the blue orbs of magic disappeared from being placed. Whilst sitting down with her horn lit up by holding her tea still to take a sip of. "Hmm i wouldn't say that we have been getting irritable, just slightly dizzy or lightheaded. So I suppose I should ask a pest pony to help with it. Which should be 12 or more bits to pay for their services. As eyes of yellowing crimson stares off at rarity when giving her the information that she could recall from. "Well I say that's the safest option to do now, after all we don't want you to faint from anything dire. But for the bits I think it might be much higher, perhaps pay someone who might be more likely to help longer... perhaps I could talk with Applejack about your situation and ask her for recommendations on what to do. As I do believe they would most likely dealt with this issue before and could give some insight into the situation at hoof." She said in response to Lyra's information, with her purple mane dangling on the side of her face upon listening. Lyra's eyes lit up with hope and joy upon hearing this. " Thank you soo much Rarity, as she's the farmer right?...from the apple orchard." She spoken softly to state her gratitude for the offer of advice. Chuckles could be heard from the white mare whose eyes of blue stared in delight. "Why of course dear, and yes that's her. So I'll most likely check in with her tomorrow or at the ending week." Poshly spoken by her words that she would try to do it sooner rather than later. " heh ya, well I hope you find a good day for it that works in well for you." Lyra smiled before lifting her tea up to her muzzle to take a big sip of tea, whilst Rarity was still doing the same. A certain fellow feline on the other hand was staring accurately into the distance, as eyes sharpened from hearing something moving in the walls. But of course being the predator ancestor of feline species she'd known not to make her scent known to the trespasser. Yes she knew that she can't really kill it due to how her owner was like her, trying to keep everything clean and safe. But if she did get a chance to catch whatever it is like that day where she went after her toy mouse and tore it to pieces. Would the feline make sure to bring it to the mare of white whose chattering about things with a guest, which she'd begin to walk over towards the cyan green hooves to rub their body and head against. Was she waiting, yes very much so for the opportunity of catching the prey. Lyra felt the feline come headfirst in to her hooves which she'd chuckle in curiosity to the sudden visit. "Awe is this the little Opalescence that I hear a little bit about?" From hearing her name being used did they begin to walk over to a pair of white hooves that belonged to her owner. "Oh why hello dear, you don't normally come to greet anypony, maybe she wants to make her presence known." Rarity said from up above in a polite tone but clearly addressing her gorgeous feline's oddity with doing this. The feline then walked off to make sure that her presence wasn't alarming the prey yet, after all they'd never want to lose to such foolery in their lives. Which a thought acted out towards the kitchen counter to see if they could leave food out on counter for the unsuspecting prey. Which they'd completely vanished into the other room now. "You got a real keeper there Rarity, I'm guessing she behaving herself there." The unicorn chuckled in the feline's attitude. Rarity nodded in agreement as she knew how she'd act when hungry for food or other needs." Why yes she is a good fellow companion even though she has her moments at times." Before taking a breather to drink the last of her tea, noticing how she's finished hers now too from just listening to her. Which she'd smiled in delight when closing her eyes as she was about to speak, " I see we finished our teas, I'll put them away now then." With this being so did she step up from her stool to lift the two cups into the air. Before walking off towards her sink to finished off cleaning them. "So do we have plans for the weekend, or will you two just be staying home with each other." She spoken delicately when beginning the process of washing the two dishes. Eyes were thinking into the air when looking towards themselves in thought. "I'd say that we have a day off or so. Maybe we'll be going on a date perhaps if everything works in our favour. Since we can't really stay in our house for now if possible until we find out the situation." With that did she step off too, soon looking forward to Rarity being hard on the washing. "Very good,well I suppose it's our time to depart from my home now too." Words of truth spoken by wonderful hospitality tones. "Ya pretty much, but thanks for letting me see you again. It was great." As Lyra's voice grew increasingly clearer as if she were daydreaming of the evening nighttime. After rarity had finally finished the last clean and dry did she opened her drawer to place them back in their proper place. "Why yes it was splendidly fun, and giving us both a little break from the busy lifestyle we live in." When she looked back at the mare in return, before walking over to meet her at the exit. Which Lyra followed upon this action, before they meet up at the exit door to the outside. "We'll see you again sometime later Rarity, and have fun tonight and the following days ahead." Which they both gave each other a hug of sorts as to give a proper goodbye. "Of course, and you too." With that the two departed from each other. Where the aqua unicorn left, and the white mare closed the door to close her boutique. Rarity would let out a little yawn now before heading back to her kitchen to turn the light off, as she exited from the kitchen to walk up her stairs to hopefully brush her mane and tail as well with brushing her teeth. Which she'd opened her door to her bathroom before closing it from behind herself to begin the daily routine. As sounds of brushing began to form did a certain feline from outside, waiting for the signal that she'd need to leave for the idea to activate. Before long did the sounds of walking come around and the cat took their leave to head down the staircase. Rarity finally walked out after placing her main essentials in their respective spots, did she walk over towards her bed to lift the blanket up with her horn. She was now slipping herself into the cozy fabric that now contained her inside her warmth of a bed. With that now done did she drift off into a deep sleep.
