Sounds of winds blowing into the building as the nights wisp their silence from a mighty feline rushing down the stairs to time the intruder into showing themselves. Eyes narrowed into big orbs of darkness to hopefully see better into the buildings night shadows. Sounds of sudden rumble blurted out from their throat as though they were about to run into an intruder who might be of fondly known. Paws delectably raised and placed down on the flooring that seemed to send the cold rushing through their paw pads, brushing their whiskers alongside the walls to navigate through their surroundings better as well for the bonus points of balancing so their presence wasn't given away yet. That's when the feline spotted a sudden shift in the light before noticing how something or someone has come up on the counter of the kitchen. There seemed to be a shift in the smells now too when walking closer up towards this sudden intruder, who mainly picked up her curiosity then anything else. Ears turned and frontal was lifted from each sound that was found in the process of crouching into a lower position that meant wiggling her bottom at the end but only because they were going to figure out she was out on the prowl tonight and not letting strangers see her owners looks from what she could understand from behind the walls. Not to mention that other unicorn specified earlier about some creature possibly died in their walls too, something that she could stop right now if something happens behind the walls. With this in mind that she lunged higher into the air when emitting more light from her eyes than the background. Which claws slit upon the counter when feeling the creature moving beneath her claws or maybe it was more or less thrashing to get free. She'd meowed in a slight growl that echoed through their throat when glaring down at the figure before her eyes widening to the site before her. They certainly were no mouse or rats but something else that she wasn't expecting to see at all. Yet quickly enough made her conclusion to be careful but stern that she would not tolerate a stranger in 'HER' home walls and left a snarky smear on her face. There laidback beneath her paws was a tiny pony who eyed the massive animal with absolute shock in those light cyan eyes. "Umm" as a gulp abruptly fell from his throat when trying to not anger this fellow feline. She'd stared at them with curiosity sprawled over her eyes of glow where she then began to bat her paw at them as if to see if they were still in shock or weren't playing dead on her. Within seconds did the pony rolled onto their side as to hopefully block anything from swiping their back or face. "Okay ok, I got it that you aren't falling for anything..." as his voice said in a cry of annoyance and confronting. Which she was taken back by the movement before slowly laying down to nuzzle the creature. "Agh" hooves quickly moved up towards her nose trying to push the sudden intrusion away. But this feline didn't seem to care, after all. This was a rarity in such tales to come across. She'd begin to sniff them more with her whiskers sensing tiny hooves clattering up her nose. They could only tell a little bit about them then before but still not as much from then. She'd then begin purring as though to address her sudden contentment and intrigue that she had not felt for a long while. That's when her ears started to look forward more or so, she could feel them leaving her nose now with the return of curiosity and confusion. "Are you actually purring? Dose that imply that you are not going to kill nor thrash me like a toy?" His voice spoken from his mind's sudden desire for information and clarification. As he watched the massive eyes looming over him with a side tilt of their head, to then instantly rest onto him with their chest. Perhaps making it clear that they were safe. As she began to nuzzle into the tiny pony who was huddled into the back of her chest. "I see that you're getting comfortable...should I be concerned for my wellbeing or is this a nonexistent matter of possession" he'd stated in a slightly nervous chuckle. She'd still looked down and listened to this stranger, she started to feel she could understand him better than her owner considering how this interaction was going now. Though she'd meowed at the inquiry, before hopping off the tiny pony. She'd watched them looking back at her in a blank face, wasn't it obvious that she was trying to show her respect for this creature's boundaries. He'd stared up at the feline when taking this as his chance to get up, as hooves clapped onto the counter with sudden sitting on his hunches. "Now I'm pretty sure a feline such as yourself would be wondering why I'm here? Right." As he smiled in waiting anyhow for signals in the feline. Which she'd meowed in elegance before licking her paw to brush against her head. "Well I overheard your giant friend's conversation that caught my interest...and not exactly the good thing to hear. As a friend of mine has to stay here due to how there was an accident in the walls with someone she knew... that I'm worried is the smell that I heard one of them saying. So I guess my schedule was pretty much messed up on getting food, due to your owner's really good cleaning job that I didn't get the food needed for this night's dinner." He stated hall heartedly to the feline, who just gave him a stare that made it somewhat awkward to know if they were listening or planning something. Eyes of cyan would shifted to their meows that sounded somewhat soothing but still shock him to his instinctive response. "So I do need to get food now if possible..." not much later did the cat walk over towards him quickly, which he'd stiffened up from them picking his body up with their maw. Nothing more was said afterwards except for the sudden panic in his brain and instincts. The ending of the bench drew closer towards them before long did he feel them lower down, closing his eyes shut tightly in fear of the height level being in the mercy of the cat. Dashing winds blew straight into them as the feline landed straight down onto her paws, to make their way to their food bowl. He'd eventually opened his eyes to look when feeling slightly sick now, to see him sitting down next to a bowl to where the feline watched him carefully. He'd shuddered before trying to calm his nerves to speck. "Are you giving me your food?" He'd started to point his paw at the grey bowl with brown looking tablets placed inside. Meows could be heard suddenly when turning their head to the side as though to not watch. Which in turn he sighed before talking to himself while placing the brown tablets into his saddle bag. "Well I don't normally eat this, but it'll have to do until I find something else..." as eyes scanned the rows of brown tablets into his saddlebag, though he felt like the feline was going to do something else after he finish his collection. Which he was right when closing up the flap to his saddlebag with a sigh of relief slip out from his mouth and nose. "Meow" as it came up next to him before gently grabbing them again by her maw, something that he instantly went numb to. He was hoping that they were going to take him back to his area. But they weren't expecting them to bring them back up onto the bench to then go back down to rest nearby the area. He'd looked down with a grateful smile when saying goodbye to the fellow feline, to let himself run over towards the ends of the bench behind a cutlery placeholder to a big hole. After a few moments of silence and walking endlessly through the walls inside interior did he eventually arrive to little home that was lit up with special lights, while seeing a fellow figure slumped down on the bedding across from him. "I'm back LillyBlum!. Sorry for taking awhile, just token extra time to find any food due to the fellow ponies well cleaning habits." As he said with a slight hint of tiredness that pulled up a hopeful smile. The figure slowly shifted slightly as though shaken by his voice, which he didn't mean to startle her by any means. Before he even gotten to apologise did a hazy voice awoken from the darkened corners of the room. "It's fine, you know this place better than I will. So long as you hadn't been spotted." Spoke the mare who looked up at them with a dropped expression of despair and tiredness. He'd sighed befuddled at her, "you know that I'm fine right? Also it might not be the most tasteful thing either unfortunately...let's just say that I had to go with pet food qualifications at best." He said when walking over towards her with a bored face to the thought of eating it. She'd looked up at him in curiosity before widening her eyes to hear that statement, as she'd sit upright as to let him sit next to her. He lowered his rump down onto the bedding with an awkward expression. She'd just stared at him with a nodded ahead to get it out face. He'd heard the situation but didn't think she'd be excited for this of all things. He'd flipped over the flap of his satchel to carry out the tablet type of brick to her, and then him after she had grabbed hers. "Thanks very much for getting anything." She said happily before nibbling on the brick of ruff texture like a mouse of sorts. He'd drooped his ears down upon hearing this, "heh, no worries there." He couldn't help but be amazed by her focused gaze at the brim exterior, was it really that good or was it something else like a habit of getting anything at all. He'd realised that he lost thought in the moment when staring at his newfound meal. He'd eventually nibbled off a crumb of it before crawling off his backside from the bitter taste. Eyes closed in dread as he continued to crunch into the now becoming mushy dirt like pile of dust and rubble. She'd on the other hand was enjoying it as she began to relax her muscles when feeling light in the air, something that she hadn't felt in long time. Shudders abruptly stopped when he swallowed it down with withering at what he just ate. Though it didn't stop him from continuing on, hunger was the strength he needed after all to continue eating something like this. Perhaps he'd try to take a look out in the morning to see if the fellow mare had made anything in the morning to pick up. He'd dwell on that personal matter later, for now she was his main focus of now. He'd eventually finish his meal before flopping his bag down at the hook that would hold his satchel. Without a word did he get up to do the usual routine of getting the bed ready. "Sorry, just need to fix up the bed for you, as I'll be resting down below tonight." He said when lowered to the bedding with her looking at him with surprise. She nodded when sitting up and watching him put the bedding on, with a much more comfortable blanket on top. He'd eventually finished off with his attempt to flatten it out straight, giving her a welcome gesture. She'd smiled before walking up towards him with a serious look. "You not sleeping on the floor, and I know that you aren't like that. Now go, and I'll hop in with you." She said with a final say did she begin shoving him in the direction of the bedding. "Heh alright fine, but if it gets to awkward or uncomfortable then please do let me know." He walked over to the bedding with a small sigh to her determined smile on confidence. She'd smiled when letting him shuffle down into the blankets, then she did the same as well when resting beside him. After a bit of hours left did they both surely slipped into a deep slumber. Though for her wasn't very restful, her mind kept her on a loop of flashing memories mixed with demonising features.
