Yanato's POV
I found myself muttering those words, a quiet reflection amidst the chaos that had suddenly consumed our lives. Shielding my little sister, Zumi, from any potential harm became my unwavering duty. She possessed a gift, or perhaps a curse, that allowed her to breathe life into the creatures she sketched. As we faced these menacing beings, the monsters she'd drawn sprang to life, becoming our first line of defense.
Beside me, my brother Louis exhaled plumes of black smoke, his peculiar ability to obscure their vision coming in handy. We were an unlikely trio, each gifted with powers we'd never truly understood. But in this dire moment, we were our only hope.
As I scanned our surroundings, the atmosphere thickened, suffocating us with an ominous presence. I couldn't see much through the chaos, but I could sense that a force far more formidable than the combined abilities of us siblings loomed over us. The unknown power we faced was something beyond our comprehension, and the real question lingered in my mind: how did we get ourselves into this situation?
Third Person POV
Fuuka and Yamasaki followed the disturbance, and upon arrival, they immediately sensed the strong and oppressive aura. Fuuka recognized it and wasted no time, rushing into the fray. She intervened in the conflict by delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the being emitting the powerful aura. The kick sent the entity hurtling through the air, breaking several trees as they crashed upon landing. The impact seemed to have disoriented them, and their oppressive aura ceased, returning the environment to normal.
As the black smoke cleared, revealing Louis, he was momentarily bewildered by the sudden turn of events, his mother now confronting the being she had just kicked.
Yamasaki joined Louis, patting his son's shoulder. "Dad!! Did Kadi tell you?" Louis asked, and Yamasaki nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, he did. Where are the other two?" Yamasaki inquired, just as a monstrous figure approached them, carrying Zumi and Yanato. Yanato appeared utterly confused by the situation, while Zumi, in her frustration, had broken her pen in half.
The monstrous figure gently set down Zumi and Yanato, and Yamasaki breathed a sigh of relief to see his children relatively unharmed. However, their safety was still at risk, as another being in their presence raised their arm, surrounded by mechanical creations, and generated a highly advanced blaster, charging up a powerful attack. They directed the blast toward Fuuka.
Quick on her feet, Fuuka glanced toward her side, summoning a massive hammer-like drill. She deftly used it to swat the incoming blast into the sky. "Homerun!" she exclaimed with a grin.
Turning her attention to the adversary, she spoke with a hint of sarcasm. "Well, if it isn't Kreo - The god of Creations..." Then, she shifted her focus to another figure who had emerged from the shadows, a woman with long dark hair, black sclera, and purple-glowing eyes filled with wrath. Fuuka continued with mock surprise, "And that is... Who was it... Oh! Shikei - God of Death."
The Death goddess was clearly incensed by Fuuka's mockery and drew a formidable blood-colored metal scythe from her cloak. "You'll pay for this, you weakling!!" Shikei shouted as she launched an attack, but Fuuka promptly blocked it with her weapon.
Their weapons clashed as the power of their attacks collided. Fuuka maintained her taunting attitude, challenging Shikei, "Now, now, don't be so angry. Just because I hurt your little pride doesn't give you the right to attack a god, especially one far more powerful than your feeble might."
Shikei, taken aback by Fuuka's statement, had to distance herself from the god of Destruction. She stared at Fuuka in disbelief. "Runihura? That can't be you. She's dead, long dead!" Shikei declared as she withdrew her weapon and pointed it at Fuuka.
