When Scarlett wakes up from the nightmare, she finds herself covered in sweat. She feels shaken, and she can't shake the feeling that something is off. She decides to call her best friend, Sarah, and tell her about what happened. Sarah suggests that Scarlett come over to her house, so that they can talk in person. When Scarlett arrives, she's greeted by Sarah and her dog, Luna.

Sarah can tell that something is wrong, and she asks Scarlett what's going on. Scarlett tells her about the nightmares and the figure that she keeps seeing. Sarah listens patiently, and then suggests that Scarlett see a therapist. But Scarlett still doesn't feel like that's the answer. Suddenly, the two women hear a strange sound coming from the living room. They both freeze, and then hear a growl. It's Luna, and she's growling at the corner of the room.

Sarah and Scarlett look at each other, afraid of what they might see. Then, they see a shadowy figure step out of the shadows, just like in Scarlett's nightmares. Sarah lets out a scream as the figure steps closer. But then, Luna rushes towards the figure and starts barking and wagging her tail. The figure is revealed to be Sarah's brother, who has been playing a prank on them. Scarlett and Sarah both laugh in relief, and then they both give him a good scolding.

After the scare, Scarlett feels a little better. She knows that she still needs to get to the bottom of what's been happening to her, but she's grateful to have Sarah's support. They spend the rest of the day talking and laughing, and Scarlett feels like she can finally relax. But later that night, as she's falling asleep, she sees the figure from her nightmares standing in the corner of her room...

Scarlett sits up in bed, her heart pounding. She's terrified, but she doesn't want to be afraid anymore. She stands up and walks towards the figure. As she gets closer, she sees that it's not a shadow at all - it's a mirror. She stares at herself in the mirror, and she realizes that the figure in her nightmares is her own reflection. She feels a wave of relief wash over her, and then she goes back to bed. She finally sleeps peacefully, knowing that the only thing she has to fear is herself.
