few month's later Ava is in her office typing on her computer when suddenly Bucky comes in with a smile on his face.
Ava jones: oh uh hey bucky what are you doing here?.
Ava was confused about why bucky was in her office then she saw bucky give her a letter she looks at him with a confused look.
Bucky barnes: this letter came in for you it has your name on it.
Ava looks at the letter and she sees the name who sent her the letter. she reads the letter and her eyes widened.
dear ava.
this is yelena i know your secrets so i am coming to seek revenge on you for what you did to natasha watch your back because im coming for you.

Ava quickly put's the letter in her desk and she look up at bucky with a shock expression.
Ava jones: hey uh bucky im going to get some coffee from down the street you want to come.
Bucky smiles at Ava words as he nods.
Bucky barnes: ya uh i would love to come.
Ava get's up from her chair and she open's the door to walk out. Bucky follow's behind her and they both walked to the coffee shop. as Ava goes into the coffee shop she sees yelena sitting at a table . Bucky looks at Ava He looks worried. Ava orders the coffee for her and bucky.
the cashier: hi welcome to the Brooklyn coffee shop. What can i get you.
Ava jones: hi can i get two coffee's please.
The cashier: did you want milk in your coffee ma'am.
Ava looks back at yelena she had a bad feeling about her. she looks back at the cashier.
Ava jones: yes please.
The cashier: ok that will be $7.99
Ava give's the cashier the money. as she waits for the coffee to be done she sees yelena walk over to her.
Yelena belova. hello Ava. yelena said with a smirk. Ava stands there in utter shock.
Ava jones: uh yelena hey i got your letter. ava said stuttering her words .
Bucky watches as the two girls talk he was still worried about ava he didn't know what to do.
Yelena belova: ah you did and you know what's coming for you next. yelena said as she begins to walks out
Ava stands there in shock but she didn't want to tell anyone about her past.
Bucky grabs the two coffees as they sat down together.
in Ava's mind. i don't know if i should tell him about my past what if he freaks out.
Bucky barnes: hey um Ava you okay you seem very nervous.
Ava looks up at bucky she didn't have the words to say anything she was scared to tell him. so she didn't tell him because she didn't want to ruin their friendship
Ava jones: ya uh my fine just thinking about something .
Bucky look's at ava he didn't know what she was thinking about maybe she was thinking about that woman she somehow knew
Bucky barnes: ok you know im here if you need to talk. bucky said with a light smile
Ava was shocked to see yelena she didn't say anything because she was to afraid to tell the truth so she kept it a secret.
Ava jones: t-thanks b-bucky t-that means alot to me. Ava says with a small smile.
Bucky didn't believe Ava was fine he could tell something was wrong but he didn't know what the problem was he didn't want to presser Ava into telling him what was wrong. he notices that Ava's leg is bouncing up and down he put his hand on her leg.
Ava smiles at Bucky she had a biggest crush on him but she was afraid to tell him because she didn't want him to think she was weird. but the biggest problem was how she was going to deal with yelena.
Bucky's phone buzzes and he answers the phone to his surprise it's steve rogers bucky's best friend.
Steve rogers: hey buck how are you holding up. steve said in a western voice
Bucky barnes: im ok just out with a coworker. Bucky said with a small laugh
Steve rogers: that's good. there is a small pause than he begin to speak. hey bucky there is something you should know about your coworker Ava.
Bucky barnes: what do you mean there is something i need to know about Ava.
Steve rogers: bucky Ava is an ex hydra assassin and i found out she was the winter widow and bucky if she tries to do anything to you you need to call the cops or me ok because she can't be trusted.
Bucky looks at Ava not knowing what to say, Bucky sighs, Bucky barnes: steve i have to work with her i don't know how to trust her now, there was a slight pause than bucky speaks.
Bucky barnes: hey uh steve thanks for letting me now i will make sure to look out for anything.
Ava looks at her phone looking for information about the red room she keeps looking for a lead but it's a dead end. Ava sighs and she sips her coffee she looks at bucky with a small smile.
bucky looks at Ava but he doesn't smiles, he knows that she will try to do something to him but he isn't sure what she might do. After the coffee date Ava walks out of the cafe and she waits to get a taxi back to shield but bucky stops her and he pins her to a wall.
Ava jones: what the hell are you doing. Ava says confused
Bucky barnes: what the fuck Ava i trusted you. Bucky said in anger
Ava looks at him scared then Ava starts to have flashbacks from when she was in the red room
in flashback,

Dreykov shocks Ava again and Ava screams in pain, Dreykov laughs and watching her scream in pain,

dreykov: sdelay eto zastav' yeye pochuvstvoat' bl'( turn it up make her feel pain
Ava screams in pain until she passes out. end of the flashback, Ava looks at Bucky, she tried to say something but nothing came out all she could hear is two russian men talking in the mind,
Bucky barnes: Ava answer me damn it.
Ava jones: i-im s-sorry b-bucky i-i d-didn't k-know h-how to t-tell y-you, Ava said stuttering her words bucky didn't know what do say he was so angry that he slaps Ava,
Ava jones: just because i lied to you doesn't mean you can slap me,
Bucky barnes: fuck you Ava im the one who trusted you and then you go and lie to me it's like i do even know you anymore Ava,
Ava feels like she might cry but she takes a deep breath and she starts to speak.
Ava jones: still doesn't give you the right to slap me you don't know what i have went through bucky, you know what im leaving, Ava says as tears fall from her eyes like a waterfall,
Bucky watches Ava walk away he didn't know what to do so he just walked home, has he got home he hung his jacket and he grabbed a beer and he sat down on the couch turning on the tv. bucky couldn't stop thinking about Ava lying he knew slapping Ava was wrong but he was just so angry, a month past and bucky and Ava haven't been talking to each other after what happend,
