2024. A year passed after the car accident. The Hungry Pumpkin finally woke up from his coma. As soon as Bijuu Mike was informed that The Hungry Pumpkin was alive, he rushed to the hospital in mere minutes. The Hungry Pumpkin heard a voice at his hospital bed.
"Are you really awake?" said Bijuu Mike, his voice trembling with worry. The Hungry Pumpkin nodded and immediately leaned into a hug. A few hours passed of Bijuu Mike and The Hungry Pumpkin talking, until Bijuu Mike had to go home. A few minutes after Bijuu Mike left, The Hungry Pumpkin saw another of his friends walk in.
"Oh my god, I can't believe your awake!" said Gerald, the gecko from Geico. Gerald explained his life situation to start a conversation. He got married to an ugly ogre Daniella, but she loves a man named Adam more than him, even though Adam is married to Norah. A couple more hours passed and The Hungry Pumpkin was finally allowed to go home, after 1 year, 2 months, and 6 days. As soon as he got home he called Bijuu Mike. When they were done calling, it was then that The Hungry Pumpkin realized, he was in love with Bijuu Mike.
