Hello there, this is my AU story for the Sun and Moon show; this is just something silly I'm writing, so don't take what I say seriously and hate me for it; I don't need that.
I am resting this story cause it kicked me out of my other account, and I...
It was a busy afternoon in the daycare; everything needed to be cleaned by tomorrow before the daycare opened. Sun, the jester, was at the security desk with three red chairs that stood sentinel in front of an array of monitors, each glowing a bright white light with security feed and essential feed of the daycare. The daycare music played in the distance in the quiet daycare; Sun stood at the security desk with the multi-coloured barrels on the desk bit at the top, which isn't where the computers were sitting. Sun was humming the daycare theme song as he aggressively rubbed a clot against the barrel's hard plastic shell that looked like it had been painted on.
Sun emitted a sigh from his voice box as he set down the barrel he had just cleaned, adding it to the neat row of others on the right side. Without a pause, he reached for another one from the left side, ready to begin the entire cleaning process again. He had already cleaned these barrels twice today after a child had an unfortunate incident with them. Sun was so engrossed in his task that he failed to notice the door opening and someone entering, a momentary distraction that would soon lead to a new adventure.
“UGHH!” Lunar, a Lunar-designed animatronic that was child-height, slumped into the daycare, his groan of boredom echoing through the space. There was nothing to do at this time, and Lunar, having slept most of the day, was far from tired. Looking down at him, Sun could almost feel the weight of his boredom. With his sleek silver body and glowing blue eyes, Lunar slumped over and fell into a doughnut-shaped plush, sitting near the tall double doors of the daycare. He fell on top of it, his body slipping into the middle of it, a playful gesture that was typical of him.
“You okay, Lunar?” Sun asked Lunar as he placed the barrel on the security desk; the bells around his wrists jingled as he moved his arms. Lunar looked up at Sun before repositioning himself in the doughnut to be more comfortable and to be able to face Sun while he was speaking. His slow and deliberate movements indicated his boredom and lack of interest in the current situation.
“No, I’m bored”, Lunar groaned as he leaned back against the hard doughnut. Sun's worry for his 'little' brother is evident in his eyes; he looks down at Lunar, his gaze filled with concern and amusement. He sighed softly as he walked over to where Lunar was sitting, a slight smile playing on his lips, a silent reassurance that he was there for him. His steps were light and careful, a reflection of his gentle nature.
“It’s okay, Lunar. You will find something to do in the meantime,” Sun said to Lunar with a warm smile as he tried to reassure him, but Lunar just groaned out loud in annoyance. Lunar didn’t want a response from me again about this. Lunar wanted something to do, but he had nothing to do at that given moment.
“That’s easy for you to say,” Lunar scoffed at Sun before slowly turning his body so that his back faced Sun like he didn’t want to continue this conversation. Sun chuckled at Lunar’s childish response as he walked over to Lunar and patted the back of his head.
“I’m sure you can find something to do; maybe you can help me clean,” Sun suggested to Lunar, his voice filled with genuine concern. Lunar looked up at Sun and shook his head aggressively, showing how much he hated that idea. Sun persisted, knowing that Lunar needed a distraction. “Come on, Lunar”, Sun said, gently shaking him by the shoulders to get his attention.
“No, the last time I helped you, you told me I was scrubbing it wrong and that you should just do it; you do it every time”, Lunar said to Sun as he pouted and looked away from Sun. Sun just smiled and stood before patting Lunar’s head and walking back to the security desk to continue cleaning the barrels.
“Sun, where’s Moon?” Lunar asked Sun as he turned his head to look at Sun. Sun just looked at Lunar before his eyes hovered over the barrels. Sun took a deep breath and played a sighing sound from his voice box.
“still up in his room, like always”, Sun muttered under his breath before slowly grabbing the cloth on the desk and cleaning the barrels again. Lunar looked at Sun before looking over at the castle area, a small space that could only be accessed through the balcony, which was high up and had nothing attached to it, so the kids couldn’t get up. Lunar looked down at the ground; he seemed bored but upset that he couldn’t spend time with his family.
Soon, Moon came down well, more like falling into the shallow ball pit and smashing his face on the bottom before standing up and hopping over the small castle-like, brown wooden wall surrounding the ball pit and walking over to Sun and Lunar.
“Hey, I’m heading out for a bit and won’t be back for a while”, Moon said to Sun before he walked over to Lunar and ruffed with his light blue nightcap, which made Lunar stick his tongue out at him. Moon chuckled before walking over to the tall wooden double door.
“I’ll be back; I promise… see you when I get back,” Moon said as he turned to look at Sun, who was just standing there with a barrel in his hand. Before Sun could ask any questions, Moon left the daycare as the doors automatically closed behind him. Sun and Lunar looked at each other in confusion.

Meanwhile, Moon had his arm pad opened as he walked out of the daycare and into the pizzaplex's main attraction area.
“Now, where are you hiding?”
