The following week without the guys was hell on earth for Annabelle. Tara had been okay for the first couple of days before she started driving Annabelle crazy. She should have expected that, given that she typically wasn't Tara's biggest fan anyways, but still it never ceased to amaze her just how much she truly hated Tara. Gemma wasn't helping the situation either. Despite being on the run, she had contacted Annabelle more than once, but then had run off to Ireland herself despite Annabelle's pleadings for her to do anything but. She was sure that she'd get the shit for that once the guys were back from Ireland. It was another normal day working at the garage when Annabelle's phone suddenly rang. She noticed that it was Kozik but was surprised that he'd be calling midday. He typically wasn't able to get away from the guys until the end of the night, so she knew it must be big news.

"Kozik? Everything okay?"

"Yeah baby, everything's fine. Just calling to let you know that we should be back in the next two days. We got Abel."

"Oh, thank God. He's okay?"

"Yeah, he's fine. They were taking good care of him actually."

"Good. That's such a relief. Tara will be thrilled. Maybe it'll get her off my back."

"Yeah, let's hope so. Listen though, the way Gemma showed up here... it stirred up some serious shit. Clay is not happy."

"Yeah, I know. I didn't tell her, I swear. I don't know how she found out about Abel and I tried to talk to her out of going, but we all know Gemma. She's a piece of work even on her best days."

"Okay, well hopefully Clay eases up before we get back, but I'm just warning you baby. He's pretty pissed."

"Noted. Thanks for the heads up."

"Yeah of course. I wish I could step in to help, but we've got to keep a low profile."

"No, I know. Don't worry, I can handle Clay. He talks a big game, but he has a soft spot for SAMCRO's princess."

"Yeah, I'll bet. Seems like everyone does."

"What do you mean?"

"The guys have been talking about you a lot since we've been here. They miss you like crazy. Chibs keeps saying he can't wait to get back and get in the ring with you. Bobby keeps complaining about how none of the alcohol here tastes as good as what you serve at the clubhouse. Opie mentions you in just about every conversation he has. You've made quite the impact on these guys."

"Well, that's good to know. Sometimes I feel like they'd never even miss me."

"Oh, trust me, they can barely last a day without you. It's nice to know I picked myself a good one."

Annabelle blushed lightly and was glad no one was around to see it. She knew she'd be teased endlessly by the guys if they were around. She still couldn't believe that she was an Old Lady. She already worried constantly about Kozik and made sure she was available at the end of the night to be ready as soon as he called. But it all felt right. She wouldn't change that kind of stress for the world.

"I'm excited for you to get home. I'm hoping we can have a proper second date finally. It feels way overdue."

"Yeah, you're right about that. We'll make it happen. And Happy and I are going to talk to Clay as soon as we get back to Charming. No more of this long-distance crap, okay?"

"Okay. Get home safe."

"I will. I'll call you with the specifics tomorrow."

"Thanks. Bye Koz."
