Hybrids Fate

Darkness

  At the pack house, Luca gathered both the wolves and vampires waiting for Dorothy signal

    He felt a strange ominous feeling as soon as she cut her hand with the dagger

   " Found her " Dorothy said looking down at the crystal bowl

  " Let's go " she continued, taking the dagger which was beginning to glow with her

   I was struggling to rein in my beast as we ran to where my mate was captured feeling the wind brushing against my black fur, I ran for God knows how long before our surroundings became dark

   " What's going on"
Everyone began to whisper thankfully both wolves and vampires could see at night

   Dorothy lit up a torch and said in complete awe
" She has been awakened, we need to get to her fast she won't last long"

Diana's pov

    " You are not going anywhere" I said walking towards the figure trying to escape

    I didn't know what happened but I wasn't in full control of my body. I moved my feet against my will towards the purple head figure trying to escape.

   I sped towards hair compelling the thick black smoked towards her but she summoned a transparent shield around her

  I snorted before launching continued attacks on her, she kept dodging while chanting spells and at the same time purple vines kept coming out of the ground together with rogues who kept attacking coming in my way

   I was starting to feel weak I didn't know how long I could keep up any longer

Luca

    We finally arrived at the source of commotion and I was greeted with an awful sight of rogues continuously attacking my mate while she was in a heated battle

   And right then I saw her look towards me my restless heart was finally about to calm down until my mate was dealt a heavy blow by a figure he knows too well

    The Queen of the witches Luciana
   She smirked at him before vanishing

  He was furious morphing into his wolf and vampire form he dived in killing any rogues in my way

     I reached my mate, she was deathly pale almost as if her all her blood was sucked away from her. Gently placing her on my shoulders I transformed into my vampire form while crushing any of the rogues in my way

   I was glad when when the battle was finally over and we sped go the pack house where I resided.
   Gently laying her on the bed
I looked toward Dorothy
" What should we do, she's deathly pale and cold"

    " She will need a blood transfusion" she replied " From me, so as to put aside the chaotic energy inside her for now"

   Nodding thankfully at her we got everything prepared and she was done in a few minutes.

   " You and I have a lot to talk about" with that she left the room

    I gently laid on the bed trying as much as possible not to disturb her, I placed my hands on her and fell into a deep sleep.

    The next morning

   I woke up besides an empty bed , I stood frantically searching around for my mate
I heard the door opening and she walked out drying her hair with a towel.

   My breath hitched as I looked at her skin glistening in the short towel she used to wrap herself
  I engulfed her in a hug inhaling her scent
   " I missed you" with that I kissed her lips not even waiting for her response
   She immediately responded hooking he arms around my neck and lightly tugging at my hair

    Breaking away from the kiss
" How are you feeling? Do you need anything? " I asked scanning her face for any slight discomfort.

    " I'm fine Luca " she replied with a doting smile " I feel refreshed you don't have to worry about me "

  I gave a look before responding
" Let me call in your mom, and make us some breakfast "

  " Alright " she replied before going into the closet.

  Diana

  I walked into the sitting room filled with the smell of waffles and pancakes
   Before I could marvel at the sight of my mate cooking, sound of coughing woke me up from my trance

   Looking towards my mom who was peering at me through her glasses I moved my hands through my hair softly before walking up to give her a hug

  " Good morning mom "
She responded with a nod before continuing
" Do you remember what happened?"

   I had a vague memory of what happened but I could clearly remember the torture I went through in that prison

   " They kept draining my blood like they needed it for something and I didn't know what came over me I had this strange feeling "

" I don't know how to explain it"
I continued

  " What about the person you fought with? Do you remember how she looked like" my mom replied looking at me
 
    " I don't think I know her, they were two of them one had striking purple hair and eyes and the other had red eyes " I replied feeling very confused as to while this people would kidnap me

   " Diana what you experienced was your awakening, I had to speed it up a bit so we could locate you" my mom said

   Just in time Luca walked in with the piping hot dishes
He said while setting up the table
  " The purple haired woman you fought was Luciana the Queen of Witches, I've met her a few times so I was able to recognize her before she vanished"

   " Now what would the Queen of Witches be needing my blood" I asked feeling very nervous

   " The blood from our lineage can gift you with a fraction of our ability when taken in large quantity" my mom replied with a gloom look

   " We believe she's trying to build a whole new army which means there would be a war " Luca said clenching his fist
" I will protect you my love" he continued, trying to reassure me

   I gave him a weak smile trying to also reassure myself

  " We are going to be starting your training soon, we need to be prepared" my mom said looking at both Luca and I.
