"Oh! Lana, just the person I wanted to see," Anastasia rushed toward her younger sister.

"You act surprised to see me here like you don't know my schedule as well as you know yours."

"Shush," Ana reprimanded lightly. "I was thinking of inviting Dylan over for dinner this weekend."

"Oh, meeting the parents. This thing you've got going is serious."

"Do you think it's too soon? I mean, it's only been just over a month."

"I think it's fine if you both feel like you're ready for it."

"Right, yeah, of course. Could you- I'm gonna mention it to Dylan, too, but do you think you two could put whatever you have going on aside for the night?"

Alana tilted her head, feigning innocence. "What ever do you mean?"

Anastasia gave her a look. "Look, I know I haven't said anything before but I can tell you two don't like each other. I don't know why, but can you try to get along...for me?"

What do you think I've been doing all along? Alana wanted to respond.

"Sure, but only for you, Ani. And only if he plays nice, too."

"Yeah, of course. So, you think it's okay to have him over?"

"Ana, he's been over plenty of times."

"Yeah, but not with ma and dad there."

"It'll be fine. Don't stress too much about it."

"Okay, yeah, it'll be fine."

"Exactly. Now, go get 'em tiger." Alana gently push Ana toward the exit of the building they were currently in.

"Don't be so eager to get rid of me. Dylan doesn't get out of class for another twenty minutes."

Without another word, the siblings found an empty table to sit at and hang out for a little while.

"So what were you really talking about with Daisy that day?"

"We talk basically everyday. You're gonna have to be more specific than that."

"When Dylan was over, and you called her delusional because of a boy."

"Oh," realization dawned on Alana. "It was nothing."

Ana gave her an annoyed look. "That was not nothing, Lana."

"Look, I don't really want to talk about it for more than one reason, so can we not?"

"Are you hiding something again?"

Alana's breath hitched as she thought about her coming out. "No, it's nothing like that, I promise."

"If you say so," Anastasia let out a small sigh. "I'm choosing to trust you on this one."

"And you should because it's really not a big deal."

"Fine, I'll stop asking."

"Thank you." Alana smiled.

"Yeah, yeah."

The pair went on to talk about trivial things, while Ana waited for Dylan to get out of class and Alana waited for her next class to start.
