Chapter 1: The Woman In Blue Hanbok

Minji, standing beside a window with a cigarette in hand, breathing the England's air for the last time before she is going back to the country of her birth which is Korea. As a child that has a Korean mom and foreigner dad, she got the opportunity to study about medical and mental and physical health issues here in the England.

Danielle, Minji's only Korean childhood friend fell ill and is in need of help from her. She's the only person that Danielle and her husband can trust. Yes, Danielle is already married with one of the most powerful man in Korea. Minji has never met him in person, she doesn't know what he looks like.

"You smoke? That's hot." Her thoughts are cut off when a girl she can't quite remember her name hugs her from behind in a naked body. They had a wonder night together, she praised this girl for her amazing skill in satisfying her needs. She wants to meet her again if she could.

"Did you sleep well?" The girl asks.
"Yeah, did you?" Minji responds while smoking her cigarette, still looking out the window. "Mmm" she hums while undressing Minji's bathrobe. Minji grabs her hand and turns to the girl and starts kissing her aggressively. The girl breaks the kiss and breathing heavily "Make me remember this Saturday morning for the rest of my life"
"Challenge accepted" Minji bits her lips and starts kissing her again, the freshly Saturday morning turns into a heated exercise session for the two of them.

Minji steps out of the airplane with an intriguing aura, the air blows her well done long wavy brown hair left and right like a paid actor as she walks in confidence in sunglasses. All eyes on her swaying hips and perfect gesture.

As she's roaming around the area, a voice call out her name. "Minji! Right here!" Minji turns to the direction of that voice and saw her best friend, Danielle smiling from ear to ear with her husband beside her, waving their hands towards Minji. Minji hugs Danielle tightly "I miss you so much"

"I miss you more" Danielle said after they broke the hug. Minji then turns to look at Danielle's husband and extends her hand, the man accepts the handshake "Nice to meet you Minji, my wife talked about you a lot." He smiles so she gave him a smile back "Like wise, Mr....?"
"Just call me Jay" Minji nods at his response.
"Let's go, you must be tired from flying all the way here" Danielle suggested so everyone get in the car.

When they arrived at Jay's house, the maids bow their head at them. "Take care of her luggage" Jay commands so a maid walks to the car to take Minji's luggage out and take them to a guest bedroom. "Think of this as your own home, Minji."
"Thanks Jay" he nods at her.

After unwrapping her luggage, Minji leaves the room and makes her way to the lunch table. As soon as Danielle spots her, she gestures Minji to sit beside her. "Can you eat Korean food, Minji? If you can't, we have a chef who can make everything you like" Jay says.

"No, it's okay. I can eat these. Thanks for your concern"

After they finished their food, Jay invited Minji to have a tea with him. They talked about stuffs especially about medicines. Danielle was just sitting there listening to their conversation. "Minji, we will hold a welcome party for you" Jay suggested, more like informing.

"Thanks for your kindness but no need to do that." Minji denying the offer.
"No! You're an important person and I've prepared everything for you so don't worry" Jay insists.
Minji looks at Danielle confusing and turn back to Jay. "I don't know if I can accept this" Minji trying to deny it again

"Just accept it, it's not that hard! Gosh!" Jay sounds frustrated, he tried to hide it but Minji can sense it so she just gives up and accepts his offer. "Good, I have some businesses to take care of so ask the maids when you need something" his mood is back to normal and he's smiling again. As he is leaving he turns his head back to Minji "The party is tomorrow by the way" Minji smiles and nods at him.

After he left, Minji turns her attention to Danielle but before she says anything she gestures the maids to leave them alone. "Is he usually like this?" Minji asks Danielle in worry.
Danielle shakes her head "not often, but he's a good husband. Why did you ask that?" Minji shut her mouth to prevent it from asking more questions.
"Anyway, it's time to check your health" Minji performed some studies on Danielle and ask her some questions, after she's understand how the woman is doing, she gave her the right medicine for her condition. They both talked about what they've missed out and their funny story when they were little.

The party day comes, Minji dresses herself in a red dress with a red rose lipstick. As soon as she steps in the party, Jay spots her immediately, like he has been waiting for her. He gestures her to walks to his group, she grabs a glass of wine while walking to him. "Minji, this is doctor Jin and doctor Han. This is doctor Minji." He introduces them to each other. Minji smiles and bows at them. "A woman doctor? Nice to meet you" Doctor Han ask in a mocking tone or Minji was just hearing it wrong. "Like wise"

"Minji finished her studies about medicine and physical and mental health from the England. Isn't that nice?" Jay praises Minji. Their conversation soon fades into the background as Minji is gazing the place, after a while she excuses herself and walks out of the group. As she is looking for more wine while walking, she bumps into someone causing the woman to almost fall to the ground but Minji catches her in time. "Sorry, are you okay?" The woman in a blue Hanbok nods. Minji guides her to a seat and sits beside her "Are you hurt somewhere?" The woman shakes her head.

"I'm okay, but thanks to you for catching me there so I was not on the ground" she chuckles, she's not looking at Minji yet. Her tone is so soft and clean, it's so satisfying to listen to. She seems interesting.

"Don't mention that, what's your name?" Minji asks. The woman turns to look at her. She has a cat like eyes, she also wears glasses.

"Kang Haerin" She smiles innocently at Minji.

"Haerin, that's a beautiful name" Minji tries to compliment her so she'd feel comfortable around her.

"Thanks, what's yours?" Haerin asks back.

"I'm Kim Minji, Minji in short" As Minji was about to ask more questions, a group of women walks towards them and suddenly one of them snatch Haerin and forcing her to stand up.

"Why is this bitch here? Is she trying to ruin the party?"

Minji frowned in confusion, not understanding what's going on. The woman forcefully pushes Haerin to the ground, she whines in pain. "Get the fuck out of here!" Minji is about to step in but Haerin suddenly stands up and runs away from the scene. Minji tries to chase after her but she is already gone.
