On a Friday Evening After All possible school activities I waited more than expected than the usual time but initially worried about what's going in my belly then seeing my mom I stared at her with a frown and entered the car . when she asked: how was school ? I said : what are we eating this afternoon? She said :we are fasting .In my Mind: fasting? With my age? Then I told her: I don't think so , have been stressed all week
I literally need a heavy food break !
On getting home , waiting for a swamp of delicies Mum said: drop your bag!,drop your bag! In my Mind: I wondered what the heck is going on? . Rushing downstairs with a bag of chips in hands ,walking down the alley mum said: don't look back,I said don't look back ! In my Mind: God what is this that's happening? Why me at this time? Hearing a group of boys storming straight for our house
I looked at my mum's face In my Mind : Wait? are theives directly stealing our things ? I said to mum: let's go back home I need to use the toilet Then she screemed: Not Now o!
In my Mind : hold on it looks like she's aware of those boys then something else must be going on cause I don't think I can take it any longer
My daughter staring at me with that face" just tell me what is going on "
I told her: dad has kept them waiting for so long in the payment process for the house so we are ejected with no where to stay! In my Mind: God make my babies strong for this!
The younger ones aren't back home , I literally have school tomorrow all our things are spread aboard with no guarantee we are getting it back !
I knew this was a beginning to behold
And I had to create a new friend" the little girl in me"
