Jealousy

FIRST ONESHOT IN THIS BOOK WOOHOOOOO!!! 

ONE WEEK UNTIL THE MOVIE!?!

This oneshot some slight cliva but it's mostly surrounded around broppy.

It was early in the afternoon.

The queen of the pop trolls was rushing around, looking for a friend of hers. She couldn't find him anywhere.

"Hey, Poppy, what's wrong?" Clay, the middle child of brozone, noticed Poppy's frantic searching.

"Huh? Oh, Clay! Hi! By any chance have you seen-" Poppy began before interrupted by rustling in the bushes.

Suddenly, Branch came falling out of the bush. He quickly got to his feet, looking cautiously around.

 He noticed Poppy, and the two of them made eye contact. No words, just staring at each other.

But his focus was quickly shifted when a sound of yelling came from above him.

Viva came tumbling from the sky, pinning Branch to the ground.

"Aha! Another successful sneak attack!!" She proudly got to her feet.

"Hey, that one doesn't count! I got distracted!!" Branch shouted.

When Branch and Viva found out they were both "safety nerds", as you could say, they started doing sneak attacks on one another to keep them on their toes. To them, it was just a fun little game between almost-sibling-in-laws that helped them both bond and stay cautious within the midst of whimsy all over the place.

But, on the other side of the coin, we have Poppy and Clay.

Sure, they joked and pulled pranks together. They were the funniest, most unstoppable pranksters in all of Trolldom. But.. they surely didn't bond like Branch and Viva did.

Two trolls with trust issues getting along pretty quickly and really well. Sounds nice, right? Not to the pranksters.

They both loved that Branch and Viva were coming out of their shells and making new friends, but jealousy conflicted with that love.

While Poppy and Branch had been dating for 2 months and her feelings for him were known by everyone, Clay's feelings for Viva were known by nobody and had been going since he was young.

Poppy and Clay jealously glared and Branch and Viva. Clay noticed that he and Poppy were sharing the jealousy, and found it kinda funny. But Poppy didn't notice Clay's jealousy at all.

Poppy suddenly cleared her throat. "As I was saying, have you seen Floyd anywhere??" 

"Floyd? He just came by, I think he's already at your pod." Clay's attention drew back to his future sister-in-law.

"Aw, darn it! I should've just waited there. Whatever, thanks Clay!" Poppy hugged Clay before leaving.

Then, the tables turned as Branch overheard this. Now he was the jealous one.

Why would Floyd be at Poppy's pod? Alone, I presume..? Whatever, I'm probably just overthinking things. Branch thought to himself.

"C'mon, let's go practice Attack Drill #275!" Viva grabbed Branch's arm excitedly.

"Hm? Oh, okay." Branch went with her.

The Next Day

Branch was in the middle of the village, just picking up sticks.
