PREGNANT!?

Anyways, this is my first requested oneshot I've ever written!! Keep the requests coming cause I'm not the best at coming up with ideas 😭

This is yet another broppy one. The only kind I've ever written. They're just so easy and fun to write.

Branch was inside his bunker, just enjoying some coffee.

Until there was a knock.

"Hellooo? Are you in there??" A nervous calling came from outside.

Branch could recognize this voice anywhere.

He set his coffee down, and made his way to the elevator.

He made it to the top, and the "Go Away!" mat lifted.

"Everything okay, Poppy?" Branch asked.

The queen was hugging herself, and looked scared. 

"Can I talk to you about this.. inside?" Her eyes refused to meet his.

"Yeah, of course. Come on in." Branch said.

It was a silent elevator ride down. Poppy was shaking.

Branch rubbed her back.

They eventually made it to the bottom.

Branch led her to the couch, and sat her down.

"What's the matter?" Branch asked worriedly.

"Branch, I don't know how to tell you this.."

"It's okay, I'm here for you."

"Branch.. I.."

There was a silence for a moment.

"I've been pregnant and had no idea. The shell cracks open in 2 days." Poppy blurted.

Everything inside Branch stopped. His eyes widened. His heart rate picked up. 

"Is the baby.. am I..?" Branch couldn't even finish his sentences. 

"Yes you are the father." Poppy assured him.

Branch's eyes teared up. He wrapped Poppy in an embrace.

"Poppy this is wonderful! We're going to be parent- DID YOU SAY 2 DAYS!?!"

"YEAH!?" 

"POPPY HOW COULD YOU HAVE NOT NOTICED AN EGG GROWING IN YOUR HAIR FOR 9 MONTHS?!?" Branch shouted.

"WE'VE BEEN BUSY!!" Poppy exclaimed.

"OH WE'VE BEEN BUSY, ALRIGHT! THAT SHOULDVE BEEN THE FIRST SIGN!" Branch remarked.

"HAHA VERY FUNNY, I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD NEWS?"

"OF COURSE IT IS! THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT EVER HAPPENED TO US!!"

"THEN WHY ARE WE YELLING AT EACH OTHER!?"

"I DON'T KNOW!!"

The couple paused and started laughing.

Branch let a tear fall down from his eye. He took a deep breath. "I'm really happy about this Poppy."

"Me too.." Poppy looked up at her hair while smiling.
