~9 months later~"hershal says its dew In a couple days"you said excited. Carl looked at you"how could you be happy about this,there is a fifty fifty chance that you might live"he said staring at you.
"I'm happy because I might die knowing that I was loved"you said before feeling a sharp pain.
You screamed in pain,you felt a warm liquid run down your leg"the baby's coming"you said looking up at carl.
"Hershal!"he yelled looking around. You heard Hershel's crutches getting louder and closer to you.
Hershal looked at you and smiled"its time"he said wrapping a arm around you and laying you in the nearest cell
You laid in pain,you looked up to see Carl crying.
"Honey,please don't cry"you took you're hand and put it on his cheek to wipe away his tears." Listen to me,you need to stay strong. If I don't make it through this.,you need to promise me that you'll take care of our baby." He nodded quickly.
You removed you're hand and landed it onto his." I need Beth" you said looking at Hershal. He shook his head."there's no time,she's out in the guard tower and that's to far away." Carl moved so Hershal could get in front of you." I'm gonna have you squeeze Carl's hand when I tell you to push,ok?." Hershal unbuttoned you're pants and ripped them off.
You nodded and looked at Carl who was looking at Hershal with worry." Ok" Hershal said putting his hands into position" push."
Carl's pove~
(Y/N) pushed as hard as she could. She screamed in agony." Oh no" Hershal said." What, what's happening?" I asked as I started to get even more worried."somethings blocking the baby from coming out and I can't find the source." All of a sudden (Y/N) went quiet. I looked over at her,and my heart completely stopped. (Y/N)'s eyes were closed and she was barely breathing." (Y/N) wake up" I said while shaking her shoulder.
She opened her eyes slightly,she looked up at me and smiled." You know what we have to do now." I shook my head." No,I told you I can't lose you." She looked at Hershal who was getting a knife out of his pocket.
"Are you sure this is what you want" he asked.
(Y/N) nodded. She looked at me,still smileing. Tears started to fall as I realised that I'm going to lose the love of my life" please don't leave me." I said while squeezing her hand a bit." Carl we have to do this now" Hershal said behind us.
I kissed her fourhead and then pulled away quickly." I love you" I said.
"I love you too" she said with tears streaming down her face." Forgive me" Hershal said before driving the knife into the top of her stomach. (Y/N) screamed in agony as Hershal dragged the knife down to the bottom of her stomach.
She screamed even louder as Hershal took the knife out." Carl I need you to hold her Stomach open." Hershal grabbed my left hand but I pulled away instantly." Carl please I need you to keep that side open while I get the baby."
I did as he said and held the side of the stomach open. I looked at (Y/N) who was no longer screaming and her eyes were now closed. She wasn't squeezing my hand or anything. She was just limp.
I looked over at Hershal who now had the baby." Why isn't it crying?" I asked. Then I heard a small cry." Hold her while I cut the cord." Hershal gave me the baby and took the knife to cut the cord.
"Its a girl?" I asked while trying to wipe the blood from her. Hershal nodded,then cut the cord.
"What happened I heard screams?" Maggie said running up to us. I turned around quickly and saw Maggie's shocked expression." Oh my god." Was all she could say." Maggie I'm going to need you to get Rick." Hershal said. Maggie then left and ran down the hallway.
One month later~
You're pove
It's been a month since you died and Carl hasn't been taking it well. You have been watching you're daughter Clark play in the cell that her and Carl are now staying in. You found out that there is no other side. There is no light,you're just stuck.
For ahwhile now you've been trying to find out how to show yourself to Carl. But you could never make it happen. All of a sudden you saw Carl walk into the cell with Clark in his arms.
You walked to Carl's side to get a better look at Clark. She was so beautiful. You went to put you're hand on Carl's shoulder but of course it went right through him.
You saw Carl put Clark in her crib that Rick brought back from a run. Carl pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it and put it on a small table that was next to Clarks crib. You looked over at the table and saw the first words on the paper were" I'm sorry...but I can't live without her.."
You widened you're eyes and turned around quickly and saw Carl sitting on the bed with his gun in hand. You quickly took a step forward and tried to slap him. But of course you're hand went through him.
You got on you're knees and tried to hug his leg,but you're arms went through him." No Carl please no" you said as tears started streaming down you're cheeks. You heard Carl starting to cry as you saw him bring the gun up to his head." Goodbye" you heard him say.
"No" you screamed as you slapped the gun out of Carl's hand. You widened you're eyes and looked up at Carl. Who was surprised as well. Carl went to hug you,but you quickly stepped back." Don't..hug me" you said taking your left arm and grabbing you're right." Why?" He asked. You looked away,not wanting him to see the tears that were forming into you're eyes." How could you do this?" You closed you're eyes,letting the tears fall down you're cheeks.
"This can't be real"* he said looking down at his hands and then at me." You're not real" I turned around to look at him." Are you sure about that?" You smiled." Come here". You opened you're arms for him to enter you're grasp. He looked at you with a questioning look. He took a couple steps forward. He put his hand out to touch you're cheek. You moved forward so he could.
You felt his warm body,and he felt you're cold spirit." Oh my god." He said hugging you tighter. You smiled but then pushed away a bit." Carl,I'm gonna have to go."
You pulled away fully. You turned around so he wouldn't see you're face." Are seriouse, I just got you back and now you're just going to leave?"
Tears started to fall." This is why, you're going to get to attached to me. And if I leave I don't know if you'll try to kill yourself again." You looked at Carl who looked at you with tears in his eyes. He looked over at the gun and back at you.
"But it's the only way we can be together. The only way that I can actually see and touch you."
You gave him a stern look." Carl" you took his face into you're hands. You looked into Carl's blue eyes. You leaned in quickly and kissed him lightly. A tear streamed down you're cheek as you felt Carl shake from crying to hard. You separated your lips from his and leaned your fourhead on his.
"Clark needs you now more then ever. I sacraficed my life for her so she could live. I didn't die so you would kill yourself. You are not going to leave Clark alone in this piece of shot wor-"
"Carl!" Rick yelled down the hall
