Chapter 8 : "Granted"

Wang Yi sigh and then show a grin, "How would you want me to kill you? Torture you and let you die slowly? Or I'll just shoot you?" Wang Yi said like everything is a joke to her.

Zhou Shiyu is clearly scared, Liu Qianqian, Xuyang Yuzhuo, especially Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi can see that.

"Will you stop doing this nonsense, Wang Yi??" Yaoyao, "Why would I? I am already granting her wish of four months freedom.. But I have my conditions." Wang Yi said, and put the gun down in the table.

"What is it?" Zhou Shiyu asked her.

"You're my slave when it's night..." She said, then Zhou Shiyu was left with no choice, "If it meant for me to have my freedom at the day, then I'll accept it." She said.

"Zhou Shiyu, do you really think I'll go easy on you? Better hand the USB to me so I can give you your full time freedom!" Wang Yi laugh at her, and then sip another wine.

"She'll never have her freedom." Zhang Yueming interfere, "You wanted me to kill you after all this, right sister Zhou? So there's no freedom for you...!" Zhang Yueming is serious about it.

"Mingzi, death can be my freedom."

"If that's the case then you have to die slowly... While we killing you slowly.." Zhang Xin said.

"That is absurd!! You guys are out of your freaking minds!!" Shen Mengyao is clearly angry for it. "Shen Mengyao, this thing is between me, Wang Yi, Zhang Yueming and Zhou Shiyu only. Please, don't stop us from doing what we have to do." Zhang Xin said with a serious expression and Shen Mengyao scoffed.

"You're out of your mind! We all know this is wrong!!" Shen Mengyao protest, trying to approach them but Yuan Yiqi stopped her by grabbing her arm, and yet, Shen Mengyao didn't stop talking.

"If I need to fight for Zhou Shiyu and if that means destroying this friendship to you, I'll do it!"

Everyone was in deep shock, including Zhou Shiyu.

"Why are you taking her side?!" Zhang Yueming angrily shout but Shen Mengyao is not scared, only Zhou Shiyu. Then, Wang Yi stop Zhang Yueming and stood up.

"In the morning, Zhou Shiyu is yours. But when it's night, she need to serve me as she promised." Wang Yi said, "I won't—" Shen Mengyao didn't get to finish when Zhou Shiyu said, "I will, master Yi."

"I don't want that to happen!" Shen Mengyao protest again.

"Sister Qiqi, I'm sure you can talk to your wife." Wang Yi said, "Yi Yi, you know that I'll support my wife when I knew that it's right."

Wang Yi laugh so much that everyone in the room got speechless for a seconds, then Wang Yi seriously looked at Yuan Yiqi, "This is the mafia world.. There's no right in what we do.."

"I know. But at least we're trying to separate our illegal business in our humanity. Although our family is included in the most powerful mafias, our parents never taught us how to kill innocent people." Yuan Yiqi uttered and showed a cold expression, she then held Shen Mengyao's hand and looked at her, "I'll be here for you." She whispered and Shen Mengyao show a big smile.

"So you're turning your backs at us?" Zhang Xin said, and Zhou Shiyu is worried for them. "Let's stop this bullshit! Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi is right!" Chen Ke suddenly enter the scene and everyone is surprised except for Yuan Yiqi, Wang Yi, Zhang Xin and Zhang Yueming.

"Sister Ke? What are you doing here?" Zhou Shiyu asked and showed a shocked expression. "Wang Yi, have you ever heard our family history before we all became like this?" Chen Ke asked.

Wang Yi scoffed and rolled her eyes away. Well, Chen Ke and Jiang Yun, they're the philosophers in the mafias world and everyone knows them. They're the ones who always give advice to other mafias, and they're the ones who is stopping wars and maintain the peace.

Wang Yi didn't get to be one of the philosophers since she knew she cannot have the same mindset and same heart as them, she was raised to be ruthless and violent of her father.

"If you don't know, I'll be gladly to educate you about it."

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!!" Wang Yi angrily shout at her.

Then Jiang Yun and Lin Shuqing also entered the scene,

"Since you were a child, we all know how spoiled and brat you are." Jiang Yun said, and showed a cold stare at Wang Yi.

"Sit down Wang Yi, and all of you calm down. We can all work this out." Chen Ke said, and sat down beside Zhou Shiyu. Jiang Yun also sat down beside Zhou Shiyu and gave her long coat to her.

Jiang Yun knew Zhou Shiyu's trembling, so she hid it through wrapping Zhou Shiyu by her long coat.

Wang Yi sat down with Zhang Yueming and Zhang Xin.

"Make it interesting." Wang Yi said.
