Stranded Lullaby [TREE X BLACKHOLE]

// Tree's POV //

*...It's.. oddly nice, being out here in the dark. There's something about it, the gentle cool breeze, nothing loud or obnoxious in the way of the silence, my teammat- friend, Black hole, floating next to me-.. wait, why is Black hole even here?..*

*I stare at Black hole quietly, god he's so pretty. They return- or atleast, I think they return my gaze.*

Black hole : ..Tree, why are you staring at me?.

*I quickly retract my stare*

Tree : No reason!.

Black hole : ... Alright.

*Silence fills the area again, I look back at Black hole.*

Black hole : *sigh* Tree, what's wrong? I might be half deaf but I'm not blind.

Tree : Sorry- I uh- I was just wondering.. why are you staying with me, even after all that happened?

Black hole : Oh, I just thought.. since you're like.. this.. now, I thought you'd be pretty lonely.

Tree : Well, thanks.

*Silence again, We're really not good at conversation, are we?*

Black hole : .. What does it look like?.. I- I mean, inside the hotel.

Tree : It's.. very colourful, a little too colourful for me. Why'd you ask? I thought you already knew.

Black hole : I can't really go- enter the hotel without basically destroying everything in my path. (AUTHOR'S NOTE!: This story does NOT take place in my story: Awoken, so NO Black hole cannot enter the hotel.)

Tree : Yeah. Sorry, by the way, I just now realised how lonely it is out here, so I'm sorry for leaving you outside the hotel while we slept inside.

Black hole : No worries, you can't really control what I am. I might as well just say sorry too, because of last episodes.. predicament.

Tree : It's fine, you were conflicted.

*Silence yet again, but this time, a more calming presence filled the area as we pushed away all our worries.*
