In a universe of three realms, Heaven, the mortal Zhou Empire and the Demon Nation, Emperor Zhouqin is old and tired and expected to die any day. In the outskirts of Zhou, lives the Winged Clan and Bear Clan. In the oceans some Mermaid folk still lingers but there are rumours about the last Dragon dying a few years ago. The world is having problems.
Wars have ravaged the lands for generations and many heavenly soldiers died making it necessary to collect humans and educate them to become immortal cultivators.
Due to climate change and earthquakes new artifacts have surfaced in many places. An ancient force is interested in some of these artifacts. They can be used to fulfill an old prophecy from the beginning of time. One that was put in as a safety switch if the Gods became to full of themselves.
