I sigh and groan at the sight of the dark clouds forming in the sky. Of course it was going to rain the one day I decided to not bring my umbrella.
I look down at my wrist watch and see I have still 15 minutes until my class gets over.
Wouldn't it be amazing if my teacher just miraculously lets us go before the heavy rain takes over the entire city?
Oh no but he won't. Because he is a math teacher. They happen to be the most boring people on earth.
Every second starts to feel like an hour as the black, dark clouds begin to gather more and more. I wasn't planning on getting wet today and it wasn't too long until it starts pouring heavily.
The class finally ends and I immediately rush outside. But it's too late. It's already raining and by the looks of it, it doesn't appear to stop anytime soon.
All my friends left and I am stuck here all alone. I somehow manage to run over to the bus stop but get drenched substantially.
"Oh fuck.", I curse, patting myself dry. Until the rain stops, this bus stand is my only shelter.
It only starts to rain more and more and there is no sign of any cars or buses on the street.
This day couldn't have gone any worse.
I groan feeling desperate and also cold from the rain until I spot a beam of two headlights coming my way.
The car slows down by the bus stand and stops right before me.
The man inside rolls down the window open and I catch a pair of really dark eyes looking up at me.
"Yer all drenched. Need a lift?", the stranger with the husky voice asks.
Of course I need a lift. But why should I trust you?
"Um. No, not really. My dad's coming to pick me up.", I quip.
The man clicks his tongue and looks down at his watch.
"Well by the looks of it your school got over long back and if he needed to be here, he woulda been here long back.", he says.
I dare to not look at him but something tells me otherwise.
"Well how do you know you are not going to kidnap me?"
The man laughs. "All this chit chat isn't going to take you anywhere luv. If you want to get in, now's the time."
I don't take a minute before I get inside his car without a single thought. I hate the rain and I didn't want to be there for any second longer.
"Make yourself comfortable.", the man says adjusting the heater up. "and then you can tell me where you want me to drop you."
"Ha, like I'd be a fool to give you my address.", I cry, rolling my eyes.
He turns towards me and scans me up and down. "Yeah you don't seem like a fool.", he smirks at me.
"Yes and you don't seem to be the type of guy to be driving around a high school and giving lifts to any girl you see stranded on the street? Creepy much?"
"You should have thought that before you got into my car, luv. I didn't force you into this.", he grins.
I start noticing his profile. He is pretty stunning looking actually. Shabby hair, sharp nose and a very attractive smile. And his voice. Velvety as chocolate.
I slightly shift my body towards him, my arms folded around my chest.
"Well for your kind information, I am 19. I just joined school after my gap year in India. And sadly that doesn't make me your type.", I tease.
The man laughs, tapping his calloused fingers against the steering wheel.
The sight of him laughing appears hot to me. Like, he actually is very hot.
The rain slowly starts to stop. And after a few minutes of driving around, I ask him to stop.
"This is where you live?", the man asks.
"I don't seem like a fool right?", I smirk as I get out of his car.
The man nods and grins. "That's right."
I chuckle and lean against his window frame, his eyes falling down to my breasts.
"So to who should I thank for this generous lift? Does he have a name?"
He seems distracted for a while but quickly pulls himself back in.
"Yes, yes he does. George."
"Well thank you George for helping this poor, little girl out today. Goodness knows what she would have done without you.", I say in a sing songy manner.
"Goodness I can only imagine.", George gasp pretends.
I laugh and finally begin to walk my way home thinking this is going to be the last I am going to see of this really attractive, 30 year old something George guy. But boy, was I wrong...
