As the car journey continued, the unease in the vehicle gradually dissipated. Jungkook's earlier cold demeanor began to thaw, especially when it came to interacting with Yeonjun. The little boy's innocent enthusiasm and genuine curiosity had a way of breaking through barriers.

Jungkook, glancing at Yeonjun through the rearview mirror, couldn't help but smile. "So, Yeonjun, what do you like to do for fun? Any favorite games or activities?"

Yeonjun's eyes lit up at the chance to share his interests. "I love playing with my toys, Mr. Jeon. And I have a big collection of action figures. I also like drawing and coloring."

Jungkook was genuinely interested in the conversation, his questions encouraging Yeonjun to share more. "That sounds amazing! Do you have a favorite superhero or action figure?"

Yeonjun nodded excitedly. "I love Iron Man! He's the best superhero. And I have a really cool Iron Man action figure."

Jungkook nodded in approval. "Iron Man is pretty awesome. What do you like most about him?"

Yeonjun began to explain with great enthusiasm, "He's really smart, and he has an awesome suit that can do all sorts of cool things. Plus, he's really brave."

Jungkook was clearly enjoying the conversation with Yeonjun, their interaction free from the earlier tension. "You've got great taste, Yeonjun. Iron Man is a hero in every sense of the word."

Y/n, who had been silently observing the exchange, couldn't help but smile. Jungkook's ability to connect with her son was a relief, and it reassured her that they could navigate the complexities of their professional relationship without jeopardizing the wellbeing of her family.

Yeonjun sharing stories about his school, his friends, and his favorite toys. Y/n and Jungkook were engaged, offering smiles and laughter in response to Yeonjun's anecdotes, the earlier tension a distant memory.

However, the atmosphere took an unexpected turn "Yeonjun, You didn't tell me what your father do?"

When Jungkook asked Yeonjun about his father. The question was innocently phrased but carried a heavy weight for Y/n. She glanced towards Jungkook, her expression caught between surprise and apprehension.

"Dad?" Yeonjun echoed, looking puzzled. His innocent eyes turned to his mother, seeking an answer to a question he didn't quite understand.

Y/n's heart sank as she grappled with the situation. She hadn't anticipated discussing Taehyung, Yeonjun's late father, during this car ride with Jungkook. She had been cautious about revealing too much about her personal life to her business partner.

Jungkook's gaze remained fixed on the road ahead, his expression unreadable. "Yes, Yeonjun, your dad. I'm sure you love him."

Yeonjun's brows furrowed as he considered the question, his young mind grappling with how to respond. "But, Dad is..."

He was about to say something when Y/n's phone rang suddenly, interrupting the conversation. The caller ID displayed Jimin's name. Y/n hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to pick up the call. She could sense the curiosity and concern in Jungkook's eyes, but she also knew Jimin was waiting for her at her mansion.

Finally, she decided to answer. "Hello, Jimin."

Jimin's voice on the other end of the line was filled with excitement. "Y/n, where are you? I've been waiting, and I've got something special for you. Hurry up!"

Y/n glanced at Yeonjun, who was watching her expectantly, and then at Jungkook, who seemed to be pondering something. She replied to Jimin, "I just arrived, Jimin. I'll be there shortly."
