The Concert

Sunghoon's Pov: 

Friday-12:00PM

Todays the concert but it starts at 7:00pm so were doing soundcheck and last minute choro and singing practice. And there goes my heart beat again. I'm still Nervous but hopefully they go away soon. 

We go back to the dorm to eat and rest a little until showtime. Right now we just finished eating and I'm in my room scrolling though Weverse seeing what Engenes are saying. I decided to replay to some post before taking a nap.

*Dream/flashback*

June 1st 2013:

"Jangmi What do u mean you moving"

"My parents are getting a divorce and my mom's moving to the U.S. with my Sister and me"

"why can't u stay with your father and bother, her in Seoul where I am"

"Sunghoon I'm only 10 years old, I don't have a choice. I wish I could stay"

"why does you mom want to move all the way to the U.S."

"because she want to start completely over and she already found a job there"

"when do u leave" 

"Ummm"

"Jangmi, When do u leave"

"Umm on Sunday" she says with a low tone

"In 2 day, omg. why didn't u leave me earlier"

"I just found out like 3 day ago and I could bring myself to tell"

"So that's it your just gonna leave-here let my talk to you mom"

"Sunghoon your 11, you have no authority"

"why are giving up so fast"

"I'm trying not to give up but she wont change her mind. Trust me I tried talking to her but it didn't work"

"Then why does you bother get to stay"

"he's  going debut in a k-pop group and he's a adult"

"so it's just the end of our friendship mimi"

"I gues-"

"Jangmi let's go we have to finish packing and finalize paperwork" 

And just like that she was out of my sight and gone. The only thing I had left was this bracelet she made for our Friend-A-Versary

*dream/flashback end*

"ah bro you good" Jake says because I wake up sweating and breathing heavily 

"yeah just a bad dream" 

"ok well, we have to get the concert" I check the time and it's like 5:00. Engene usually come in about 5:30 to 6:00. So let's go.

Rosie's Pov:

We pretty much stayed at the hotel except when we went to a Korean BBQ place. Right now it's 6:20, it's a good thing out hotel is close to the avenue. We go some last minute checks to make sure we have everything like our lightsticks, paper or photo card with a pen for a autograph. Alright let's goooo. 

7:00:

The shows starts off with there new song 'bite me' and omg they so fine and unreal. I look at Sunghoon as he slays as always. 'Chemical love' starts playing and me, Yeji and Minyoung sing along while my mom had to step away for a moment. I so excited especially for the send off when they come and interact with Engenes. 

9:00: 

The concert was the best fucking expense ever. Now it's time for the send off. I'm so nervous what if  embarrass myself or say something wrong, my Korean is still rusty. I look over to my mom and just looks at me and just smiles I know she hiding something but I won't press it.

I see the members walking over. Then Jake come to our section and My hearts starts so fast. I have a photo with all of them on it he takes it and signs the backs of it. That's it I'm dead. 

"how did u like the concert" she says in English and I realized he's talking to me 

"It was awesome. You guys did amazing"

"thanks, make sure to explore the city and come back when u can" he says has he gives the photo and pen back she moves on to Yeji and Minyouing and a few other people in our section then moves to the next one. Next Heeseung comes, I have 8 different photo cards and he sign the one with him and Niki on it. Next comes Jungwon and niki together. 

Before the send off is over Sunghoon come to our section. I quickly grab the photo where it's just him and he sign it but when he look up, he gives me a weird look, like he's figuring out who I am. He clears his throat and says

"here u go. sorry about that u look like a friend i used to have"

"thank u, and it ok. Btw u guys looked amazing up there"

"thank you" he says blushing 

"see u tomorrow" I say by actually

"oh your coming to the fan sign to tomorrow, well get some sleep and eat well"

"ok thanks" 

and left to the rest of the section. 5 minutes the concert was actually over. 

Minyoung: "looks like u and u Sunghoon chatted for long" she says we walk out of the venune, while Yeji and mom walk ahead

"we didn't talk for that long"

Minyoung: "u sure about that? the girl beside me was looking at u the whole with a (►__◄) kind of face" 

"So what. She got to meet him to. Btw U and Jake seemed to click"

Minyoung: oh that was just fan to artist intreaction" she says as she look away

"sure sure" I look at her with a 🤨face 

We get in the renal car and Minyoung calls the front seat. That gives me the chance to talk to yeji

"how did u like the concert"

Yeji: "it was amazing. thank u" she says as she look down at her photo that Niki signed. It's finally my chance to tease her. 

"I see u got Niki's autograph" she starts shyly laughing

"shut up" cute

Sunghoon's Pov: 

Why did that girl look so much like Jangmi 10 years later. But she was cute and I'm glad I get to meet her aging tomorrow. My heart was and is still beating really fast. 

We order some takeout cause who gonna feel like cooking after a concert. Before i go to bed to post on weverse.
