Hyunjin was on his bed scrolling through tiktok. He looked up from the phone to the sound of door opening.

It was Chan. His roommate, his friend and most importantly his crush. Well how could you not crush on him when he is this perfect. He is kind, sweet, caring, handsome and hot. With the black curls framing his face and cute dimples popping when he is smiling.

He smiled at Chan who seemed to be surprised by his presence.

"Oh you're back early." Chan said returning the smile to the brunette.

"Yeah, the last lecture got cancelled" Hyunjin said.

"How was the day?" Chan asked while unpacking his bag.

"Not bad, how about you?"

"As usual"

"What is that?" Hyunjin asked pointing to a pink paper which fell out from Chan's bag. Chan picked it up saying, "Ahh...Jia gave it to me. She said to read it later. I didn't get the chance to read it. Let's see what this is"

"Is she the blonde girl in the cheerleading team?"

"Yeah" Chan replied.

Hyunjin nodded, humming in acknowledgement.

While Chan was reading it, Hyunjin got curious and peeked over Chan's shoulder. The paper was full of little hearts. Hyunjin felt uneasy.

"She asked me out on a date" Chan said turning around to look at Hyunjin.

"So what are you gonna say?" Hyunjin nervously asked. He didn't want to see Chan with another person. He knew that was selfish of him to even think that. But he was not ready for it. He hated feeling like this.

"Well, she is a nice girl. I think I might give it a try."

"Oh okay"

'Going on a date doesn't mean they're dating. It's okay.' Hyunjin thought to himself.

"I'm going to take a shower. And I got us some food on the way. Can you heat it up? " Chan said, breaking Hyunjin's inner thoughts.

"Yeah sure"

As they were getting ready for bed, Hyunjin thought about his feelings for Chan. He liked Chan for a quite time now. But he didn't even know if Chan is into guys. He remembers Chan mentioning about having had a relationship with a girl in the high school.

He didn't dare say anything to anyone except one person. He told Jisung how he felt for Chan. Yes, Jisung is a funny guy with a loud voice. But he was also very caring. That's why Hyunjin decided to talk to him about his feelings.

"Hyunjin are you going to Felix's place tomorrow?" Chan asked him.

"Felix's place? Why?" Hyunjin asked, confused. "Don't tell me you forgot about the movie night" Chan said looking at Hyunjin.

"Oh I totally forgot about it. I am planning to go. What about you? Are you also going?" Hyunjin asked.

"Yeah, I am going. And you promised to bring the snacks. In case you forgot that too, you clumsy ferret" Chan said smiling at Hyunjin.

"Morning hyung!". Chan greeted him back.

Changbin noticed the upset mood the elder was in.

"Hyung, everything okay? "

"Jia asked me out on a date yesterday."
