I was young and quite a shy boy and because of that I don't have friends.
I thought this will keep up but one day when I was walking home from school.
"arf ! arf!" I look behind me and I saw a box near our house. I walk towards it and I saw a puppy.
The puppy look at me in the eyes and I saw my reflection. I could see myself to him. I kneeled down.
"Your alone to huh?" I ask while playing with it's paws.
"arf!" I smiled then I patted its head.
"Richard!" my mom called infront of our door.
"Wait a sec" I said then I stand up.
The puppy whined so I look at it. I lean down then I grab the box.
I saw it wags its tail so I smiled. It seems to be happy. I decided to take it home with me.
My parents didn't mind and they even agreed to let the puppy stay with us.
I was giving the puppy a bath when I remember something.
"I haven't give you a name right?" I wash its back.
"arf!" the puppy look at me in the eyes.
"hmm I don't know any good names though" it whined.
"Aww...wait a sec let me think. hmm is it okay if I call you Charlie?" The puppy growled so I laugh.
"Haha your right thats a terrible name for you" I look at the puppy.
"Hmm how about chowie? since your cute, chubby, and fluffy" I laughed thinking about it.
"arf!" the puppy wags its tail.
"Haha you like it?" I ask playing its paws.
"arf! arf!"
"So cute" I carry him. "Come on Chowie let's go inside" I said.
The next day I have school so I ask my mom to take care of Chowie for me.
I was having a normal day at school. I was eating at the table when...
"Hi" a girl sit next to me. I look around to see if she's talking to someone.
She look confused.
"Are you talking to me?" I ask staring at her.
"Of course" she smiled at me sweetly. I feel uncomfortable so I just stayed quiet.
"I saw you yesterday" I just nodded.
"I saw you with a cute dog. Did you bought it from the pet store?" she ask. Then I remember Chowie. I couldn't help but smile I really want to go home and play with him now.
"Nope I just saw him near our house" I said not looking at her.
"Really?" I nodded. "What's the puppy's name?"
I smiled. "I name it Chowie"
"Aww that's a cute name" I blushed.
"You t-think so?" I stared at her.
"Yep" She smiled. "Hey can I come over to your house?"
"H-huh?" I stattered.
"I said can I come over to your house? I really want to play with Chowie" I just stared at her and before I knew it I nodded.
It's been a week and still this girl keeps hanging out with me and Chowie. Well I didn't mind I was kinda happy as long as Chowie is too.
We three always play together at the park.
