LoveStruck ( Aether x Oc)

We had done so many shows these past weeks that I had nearly fallen asleep sitting on my mini platform "Droplet...you can't fall asleep!" rain giggled as he gently shook my shoulder. I became quite close with rain since we were both water ghouls "Ah..sorry I didn't get a lot of sleep these last few nights..." I muttered sounding sleepy I could see Rain's worried look through his mask.  "I'm fine though only  just a tad bit sleepy..."  I said my voice a bit weak from singing.  "well if you say so..." rain shrugged and walked off adjusting the strap to his bass. I sat back down on the mini platform there wasn't a whole lot to do besides watch Copia interact with the crowd. I just ended up messing around with one of the rings on my finger it was a little rat "1...2...3-" I counted as I thew the ring In the air I got to seven  before I got cut off by a hand suddenly snatching  it mid-air "H-hey!" I chirped. Aether stepped in front of me holding my ring and examining it closely "Well, well, well," he said with a playful and flirty smirk. "What do we have here? Something you're willing to part with, just like that?" He twirled the ring in his fingers, I could see him enjoying the way I squirmed under his gaze. "Don't worry, I'll give it back to you," he added with a wink, before placing the ring back on my finger and brushing his fingers against mine.  "Oh, uh, um... thank you?" I stammered, feeling a bit flustered by Aether's sudden flirtatious behavior since we were on stage in front of A LOT of people. 

"I mean, it's just a ring but I'm not willing to part with it, but thanks for giving it back. " I said, trying to sound casual and not trying to show how nervous and confused I truly was "Oh droplet..your such a cute little ghoulette.." aether smirked he had a hot husky voice, he held my chin firmly and I couldn't help but meet his gaze. A seductive smile on the tugged at the corners of his lips from under his mask. after a bit of eye contact, he grinned and walked away I could feel my face heat up under my mask "Am I falling for him!?" I thought to myself as I put my elbows on my knees my hands stroking the small white and black banned horns on my mask forgetting the fact I had my guitar strapped on me which hurt my ribs. my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest I had butterflies in my stomach from that whole interaction.

we all trudged back to the tour bus, feeling exhausted and sleepy after the long show. we were all looking forward to a good night's sleep before our next performance. I overheard Aether, Sodo, and Swiss talking about me but I just pretended not to hear. once we got to the tour bus the first thing I did was flop onto the couch. "oh drop...you sleepy little thing..." Rain teased and sat in front of my head  I felt him gently drag my head onto his lap.  I couldn't stop thinking about Aether, even as I lay on the couch my head on Rain's lap. It felt like my heart was still racing from our brief interaction earlier. I didn't want to admit it to anyone, not even to myself, but I think I might have feelings for him. It was silly he was a known flirt. But I couldn't help the butterflies in my stomach whenever he was around. I tried to shake it off and close my eyes in an attempt to take my mind off Aether but it didn't help  not one bit  "Um, Rain?" I murmured, feeling a bit embarrassed to admit what was on my mind." Yeah?" he said softly, looking down at me with concern in his eyes I could see it through his mask ."I think I might have feelings for Aether," I admitted, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment. Rain's expression softened. Rain looked down at me with a hint of concern yet joy in his eyes. "It's okay to like him," he said softly, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze he had a tight grip on my weak one. I smiled weakly, grateful for his understanding. "I know it's silly. He's a known flirt and probably doesn't feel the same way, but I can't really help how I feel," I confessed. Rain smiled sympathetically. "I get it. But don't worry too much about it. Just take things slow and see where things go," he suggested. I nodded, feeling a bit better knowing that I had someone to talk to about my feelings.

Later that night we ended up having a small pillow fight with the long sausage-looking pillows from the couch on the tour bus. Rain had hit me hard in the face and I slipped off the couch "Rain you ass!" I giggled between breaths  a few tears fell from my cheeks from the shock as I sat up on my knees "fuck I'm sorry!" rain laughed crouching over me "We should probably keep the noise down I think the others are sleeping....wanna watch a movie or something?"  rain purred excitedly "Sure!" I grinned. we ended up watching Hotel Transylvania 2  and falling asleep curled up in a blanket together.

(fun fact: the movie they watch is the same one I'm watching as I write)
