I hummed softly as I played my guitar. My boyfriend Lorenzo wasn't home yet, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity.

We recently moved in together, and we couldn't be any more happier. We met on the Total Drama season The Ridonculous Race, and we hit it off very quickly. I found it quite cute that he bickered with his stepbrother Chet all the time.

As I was lost in my own thoughts, I didn't even hear Lorenzo open the door. "Y/N?" he questioned.

I quickly jumped once I heard his voice. "Lorenzo! I didn't hear you come in!" I said.

He walked over at sat beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders, which I blushed at his touch. "You can continue. I'd love to hear you play."

I nodded, and I played with my guitar once again as I leaned against my lover. I started to hum like it was muscle memory, which it was. I always hum when I play my guitar. To my surprise, Lorenzo started to hum with me. It made me feel... appreciated in a way.

After a while of this, I stopped. Lorenzo looked a bit confused. "Y/N? Why'd you stop? I actually liked it-"

I cut him off by hugging him after I set my guitar down. "I know. I'm just a bit tired, and I want to cuddle with my boyfriend."

He smiled and picked me up, carrying me over to the bed and set me down. I laughed as he planted kisses all over my face after he laid next to me.

I ran my fingers through his hair gently, gently sighing. "How did I get so lucky?" I whispered.

"I should be asking you that. How did I get so lucky?"

"I love you, Lorenzo."

"I love you too, Y/N." He planted a kiss on my forehead.

We both cuddled close to each other like we'd die if we didn't. I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. Shortly after, we both fell asleep in each other's embrace.
