Today is the day that changed my life, along with my daughter. I, Aarohi Birla, got married for the second time in the same house with the elder brother of my late husband. I don't know how I will be seen or called out in front of society. Some will see me as desperate, having married her sister's ex-husband. Am I? In a way, I am. I just want to see the innocent smile on my daughter's face, which I lost long ago.
I want to preserve my little girl's heart before it breaks from the cruelty that life is going to throw at her. I have been a good mother and daughter-in-law, but wife? I lost the feeling of being someone's wife long ago. Can I be a supportive wife if I am not a good wife? Abhimanyu and I have decided to hold each other's hands where Roohi would feel at home. Can we give that to her? From now on, I have to stay in Abhimanyu's room. God, give me the courage.
Today I got married to Aarohi, whom I used to hate from my heart and who was my brother's widow. With whom I've been coexisting in this house for the last six years, I only interacted if necessary. Today, on the same person's neck, I tied a mangalsutra, which I didn't even think was possible in my dreams. After seeing Akshara happy with her new family, I needed to do this. I need to move forward in life. I need to be with Roohi, as she is the innocent angel who filled the void in my life. But I am still stuck in my past. Can I give the rights of my wife to Aarohi? Can I give a stable family to both the mother and daughter? Firstly, I need to stop thinking Can I? I just had to accept that now Aarohi and Roohi are in my life and I'm responsible for them. From today on, Aarohi and I are going to share a room. God, give me the courage not to make a mistake.
Aarohi enters the room and sees that Abhimanyu is already inside. Both don't talk to each other; they just sleep in both corners of the bed in silence, without knowing that tomorrow morning is going to bring a storm into their lives, which hardly started for a day.
The next morning, Aarohi and Roohi plan to go to Goenka's house. Abhimanyu accompanies them at Roohi's insistence. While entering the Goenka house, they see Manish talking angrily on the phone and shouting at someone. Worried about the issue, the couple goes towards him, only to learn the bitter truth of their lives. Akshara is the person with whom Manish has been talking on the phone; the topic is Abhir being Abhimanyu's son. The couple silently leaves, with Roohi grasping the betrayal from their trusted people.
Once they reached the Birla house, Aarohi asked Roohi to do her homework with Shefali Bhabhi. In the room, Abhimanyu is seen collapsing on his knees, crying his heart out. Aarohi gathers him herself, resting his head on her shoulder. She asks him to cry as much as he wants, as she herself can't control her emotions. For hours, the only sound heard inside the room was the couple's cries. Abhimanyu: "Why... me? Don't I have the right to know about the existence of my son? What I'm going to do now that Abhir doesn't even know I'm his father? seeing Aarohi What about Roohi? How am I going to explain it to her? Why does Akshara have to bring me into this situation? What should I do? How should I react?" saying this, he again starts crying.
Aarohi takes his hand and keeps it on his heart. "Just do as your heart desires. Know your priorities. Just remember, I will support you no matter what happens. Remember, Roohi and I will be waiting for you back home, even if you fail and fall. Go get your answers till your heart makes peace with them, till your questions are completed. Just Go.
Aarohi enters her room; oops, Abhimanyu's room, which she had just shared with her husband for one day. Seeing her reflection in the mirror, there are no marital signs, which show her as a married woman—no sindoor, no mangalsuta. She herself decided not to wear them, as she didn't get the feeling of being married in the first place. She thinks, "It has been two weeks since Abhimanyu went to Kasauli. The first week he used to daily video call Roohi. He even used to call Aarohi personally to ask about the situation at the hospital or home, sometimes about Roohi or her well-being. But it has been one week without a call or message from Abhimanyu". In the last conversation she had with him he informed her that Abhir knew the truth, he accepted Abhimanyu as his dad. He sounded so happy, which she felt all the way from Udaipur in his voice. She felt happy for Abhimanyu, as he got all the answers and the rightful place in his son's life.
