A trip with the doctor

The meeting (10th Doctor)

I was sat painting the beautiful view of the trees and the river with all the different shades of green and blue when all of a sudden i hear someone "An extraordinary view isn't it?" said the mysterious but calming voice
"Yes..yes it is."
"I'm the Doctor by the way." He answered with a kind sounding voice
"(Y/N)is my name"I said confidently
"That's a nice painting you've got there."
"Thanks but i prefer it at night,the stars are so pretty it makes me speachless."
"I find that too but being up in space all the time i'm used to it by now."he exclaimed
I finally looked over to him with a very confused look on my face.  My thoughts were racing with questions,How could anyone be in space so much that their used to it? Not even astronauts are up there so long their used to it. After a few seconds i finally answered "How could you be up there so long your used to it?" i asked
"well being a Timelord--" I cut him off
"A Timelord?"
"Yes a Timelord.Anyway there's no time for this,would you like to come with me?"
"Of course!" I cheered in a happy voice
"Alons-y!" he said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up off my seat
He led me to a big blue police box and let go of my hand as he unlocked the door.He then grabbed it again and pulled me inside. I was astonished when i saw that it was bigger on the inside "WOW" I slightly shouted before he could answer I went back outside and circled around it
"I know,it's bigger in the inside."
"Yeah"
"So where to then? " He asked curiously
"I don't know! "
"Out of the whole universe you 'DON'T KNOW"
"Well yeah, it's a big universe,just surprise me!"I said in an exited tone
"Ok then"
The Doctor started pressing buttons and flicking switches. There was a jolt that knocked me but luckily i caught myself on the railing.I walked over to him and sat down on the leather chair next to him.Watching him patiently i noticed his dark brown eyes,they had a sort of golden glow to them.He looked over and gave me a little smile,it made me blush so I tried to cover it by putting my hands on my cheeks but he noticed and laughed a little which made me hide my face even more,luckily he didnt see this time.

A little while later I grabbed the book i put in my pocket before we left and stated reading it. I got a couple pages through and let out a little giggle.The Doctor came over after hearing me."Whats so funny?" he asked peering over trying to see what i was reading but i hid my book from him
"Nothing" I lied obviously
"Welll something has to be funny otherwise you wouldnt be lauhing.What are you reading anyway?"
"It doesnt matter and you probably wouldnt like it anway."I answered trying to hide the book even more but he managed to grab it and started flicking through pages stopping every now and then to read certain parts
"OHhh its one of these books isnt this quite popular on earth?" he questioned
"I guess but i've only ever met one other person that reads this book." It was Good Omens by the way
"Oh,well anyway i just want to say that we are here now and we are in the 1800's by the way so ill show you to the dressing room so you can pick a more appropriate outfit,i'm going to do the same because we are going to a ball so you best where a nice dress."
"Oooooo I love clothes from the 1800's.I cant wait!" I said in an exited and amazed voice because we are in the 1800's
"Oh and its winter so dress warm and maybe bring a parrasole because its snowing."
"Ok,are you going to show me where the dressing room is then?"
" Ah yes,right this way."
He led me down some stairs and through a little corrador until we came across a giant room full of rails and rails of clothing,there was clothes from every time period.I picked out a long flowing dark red dress with lasey flowers going all down the skirt,with it i wore a black corsette and a dark red,small,longsleeved waist coat type thing with puffy bits before the shoulder,I also added a black lacey parrasole to match the corsette.As I walked back to the central room I saw The Doctor standing there in a black and white suit with a bow tie"He looks so handsome" I thought to myself.As I made my way up the stairs The Doctor noticed me,he probably heard me first though cause was wearing black boots with quite big heels.
"(Y/N) you look SO beautiful,I dont think ive seen anything this pretty in a hundred years." He said with a sweet voice and a cute smile which made me blush so much i got a bit light headed.
"Th..Thank you,no ones ever said something like that to me before." The smile on my face was huge but cute and loving at the same time
"You look really handsome." I said so he didnt feel like he underdressed and so thought he looked good too
"Thank you. People should tell you that more often cause its true."He smiled
"We should really get going now though,we've spent more then enough time in the TARDIS."
" I agree"
"Alons-y!" The Doctor shouted
He went over to the door and opened it,I went over too.He held the door for me"Ladys first."He exclaimed
"Why thank you."
As i walked out i shivered not realizing how cold it would be.The Doctor locked the TARDIS then grabbed my hand and started to walk off.I didnt know where we were going but let him take me.The snow was beautiful,the best thing i get is a bit of frost not foot deep snow.Soon we came to a great,huge building with ivy growing up the wall and some beautiful lion statues outside."Is this the ball?" I asked excitedly
"Yep,isnt it nice." Said The Doctor not taking notice of the lion statues
"Its lovely."
"Shall we go in then?"He asked
"Only if you want to."
"Of cource i do"
We went in.There was a little reception bit at the entrace with a red carpet and some little plants in the corners.There was a man there that the doctor showed some paper to and then he let us in. When we got into the ball room i was amazed to see all the tables with white cloths on around the edges of the room and loads of peple dancing in the middle.The walls were an orange brick with plain white tapestrys hanging down to match the tables and more vines going along the top of the wall,when i looked fully up all i could see was a white ceilng with an absolutely giant crystal chandeleir hanging there and i thought "wow,how am i here right now,this is amazing." I zoned out in my thoughts
" (Y/N)?" The Doctor said
"...."No answer
"(Y/N)??"
"Oh.. Yeah."
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah,why?" I said with a confused look on my face
"You zoned out for like 2 minutes."
"Oh did I?"
"Yeah,you did,anyway lets go get a table."He said with a bit of a frustrated look
"Sorry,I didn't mean to i was just so amazed by how big and fancy this place is."
We walked over to a table and sat down.
"I know you didnt mean to."His voice seemed a bit tence
"Are you alright? You seem a bit tence."
"Yeah,im fine,im always alright."His voice less tence now
I looked around and sarted watching everyone dancing.They were so gracefull with every step they took,"i could never do that" i thought to myself.
"Your so cute when you do that." The Doctor exclaimed
"When i do what?" I asked without turning to look at him
He grabbed my chin and turned my face to look at him.I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as i blushed
"That look of curiosity,oh and when you blush."He said with a sweet smile which made me blush even more
He let go of my face and stood up then walked round to me and put his hand out
"Since you were looking at them,care to dance?"
"If you insitst."I grabbed his hand and stood up we then walked over and by the time we got there a new song started playing which was perect.
The Doctor put one hand around my waist and one on my shoulder,i did the same to him.We started dancing. I looked down to make sure i didnt stand on his feet and when i looked up his dark brown eyes were staring straight into my (E/C) ones. I felt his hand move away from my waist and onto my face,before i know it i feel his soft lips on mine.My sences came back to me and i shut my eyes,his lips tasted like sweet maple syrup.He pulled away,again i opened my eyes to his stairing back into mine. I nested my head into his chest.
"Are you ok?" He whispered in my ear
"Yeah,I think we should go back to the TARDIS."I whispered back not knowing if he could hear me cause i was looking down
"Oh ok,are you sure everything is alright?"Said The Doctor with a worried tone
"Yeah i just dont want to be here anymore."
"Ok,we can have a proper chat when we get back.How does that sound?"He said with a caring voice
"That sounds good...Yeah that sounds good." I smiled at him
Returning the smile we went back over to the table to get my parrasole.He led me back to the TARDIS quite fast because it was freezing and the snow had gotten really heavy.When we made it back to the TARDIS The Doctor unlocked the door and we went in. "It's because of the kiss isn't it,i now i shouldn't have done it cause we've just met but the moment i saw you i knew i'd love you and you probably don't want to travel with me anymore and i'll-"I cut him off mid sentence,he sounded worried and sad and like he was about to cry
"No its not that i loved the kiss it was amazing,i never wanna leave you but yeah i do think that we should get to know each other more first and go on some more adventures or spend more time in the TARDIS together though"I blerted out probably too fast for him to understand what i said
He walked over and put his head on my shoulder,i felt a tear drip onto my hand.
"It's ok i never said i wanted to leave theres no need to cry."I said in a comforting voice
"I know it's just that I feel like ive done a bad thing because I didnt even ask you if it was ok that i kissed you."
"You didn't need to and besides that was an amazing kiss I never said i didn't like it and you have my concent to do that,you can kiss me whenever you feel like it but only if im awake obviously and nothing else only kiss."
"Ok I just get worried thats all."He said in a bit of a muffled,sad voice
He got up from my shoulders and wiped his face with his sleeve then he looked at me with a sad face,i smiled,he smiled back.
"So why did you want to come back to the tardis?"He said
"I'm just really,really tired and want to sleep.Can you show me where the bedrooms are?"
"About that"
"What" i replied quickly
"I know that the TARDIS is really big and all but ive only got one bedroom so we will have to share the bed. If thats ok?" As he said that i thought he might make me sleep on some small sofa somewhere but im glad i dont have to
"Thats perfect."I asnwered with a tiny smile
Before he led me to his bedroom i went to the dressing room to get some pajamas,so did he.When we got to the bedroom i was a little bit brought back by all the little trinkets he has.I clambered into bed and waited for The Doctor to climb in next to me.He got in making sure not to squish me and pulled the duvet on us,he then put his arm aound me as i put my head on his chest and listened to both his hearts beat which eventually lulled me to sleep,i think he just fell asleep because of how warm it was though.
