“You understand the plan Logan?” Ashlyn explains, the group of teens looking at Logan. The red eerie night sky watching them all.

“Y-yes.” Said Logan, taking a deep breath. “I understand.” His head nods and his posture fixes.

The group nods as they get in the jeep.
Most of them have taken their eyes off Logan by now, all except Tyler.
Out of all of them he was the most worried. No he didn't act sweet towards Logan, but Logan was also deeply important to him.

He was a friend... No, something more than a friend to him...

He couldn't see him get hurt, he wanted Logan to stay safe. He knew the nerd was surprisingly good with guns, so he could hold his own but, him being here all alone scared him.
What if something happened to Logan? Would they- no. Would he be able to get to Logan fast enough?

Tyler sat in the jeep next to his sister Taylor.

Logan was fine on his own. He needed to make sure his sister stayed safe right now.

The jeep drove off and Logan started to become smaller and smaller the farther they got.

“Logan stay safe...”

The blonde watched them drive off and he quickly ran up stairs and out the window and onto the roof, quickly closing the window so phantoms won't get him from the inside.

He laid on his stomach, his elbows propping him up, the rifle in his hands, being firmly gripped.

They were gonna be gone at most thirty minutes, not that he would be able to tell when thirty minutes was up.

Logan eyes scanned the area, barely being a phantom in sight, maybe one or two walking or crawling pass.

Logan let out a silent sigh, maybe everything was gonna go good. Just maybe he wasn't going to die or have a near death experience just like every other night.

His eyes kept intensively scanning the area, nothing in sight. His back started ache the pain starting to become unbearable. He sat up to crack his back a little. There was a pop, and he heard but little did he know so did something else.

He laid back onto his stomach searching around for phantoms, it had been at least ten to twenty by now. He just had a little more time to go until they were back.

“Please hurry and come back-..." Logan paled, he saw a shadow standing over him, and he knew that everyone wasn't back yet.

His head slowly turned and not to his surprise, a phantom stood their with it's signature distorted smile. It attempted to grab him, but missed by a hair. Logan rolled over, now quickly getting to his feet as he started to run, but the phantom quickly sprinted after him.

The gun was in his hand, but it wasn't easy to run with, but nonetheless he ran with it in his hands. There was no quick way off the roof besides jumping off, and that's what he did, but hurting his ankle pretty badly in the process. But he couldn't stop, because the creature was literally right behind him.

As he ran across the dirt, he saw more phantoms and they started charging at him, it only made him become more terrified. He felt tears in his eyes as tried running for the other house, but was tackled to the ground by the first phantom, it used it's nails and scatched Logan across the chest, causing logan to scream, hitting the phantom with the gun, desperately wanting to shoot it but it would draw more phantoms.

He managed to stand and run to the other house, the pain seeming going numb from andrenaline. Running in the house he runs upstairs into a room, slamming the door and locking it, before pushing the rather long and large dresser against it.
