you woke up with a heavy heart this morning, even though you were woken up with brook's wonderful music (binks sake).

you woke up earlier than the others so you trudged into the bathroom quietly and looked at yourself,
not happy at what you were seeing.

your hair was in a messy ponytail/bun with strands of hair out.
and your eyes, my goodness they were as red as a strawberry, this was due to crying silently at night.

'i look terrible'

you sighed, but on the verge of tears so it came out shakily. you slapped your cheeks,

'no! i cant cry right now.. breakfast will be out soon and i cant go out there will a face that screams i-cried-last-night'

you turned on the cold water and splashed it on your puffy face.

(and then did your daily routine of hygiene)

the day went as usual and no one seemed to notice anything particularly wrong or different about you.. except the one blonde --and extremely good cook on this ship.

as you leaned on the railing staring off into the sea, sanji sadly gazed at you, concerned.
'i should go make her favourite food, maybe she'll look less gloomy'
and he did just that.

now you were in your bedroom ruffling your hair as you start to ponder what the point of really anything is. you were wearing a long sleeved sweat shirt with shorts on.
normally, your fellow friends and crewmates would ask you from time to time,

'why do you always wear long sleeved clothing?'

and you would find any excuse to cover up the real reason, like 'todays feeling really cold' or 'i feel a bit sick'..

.. but deep down inside you knew that the real reason was to cover up the scars that you purposefully made.

why were you doing this to yourself? arent you happy? dont you have the most wonderful friends that you could ask for? arent you really pretty? that question lingered in your head longer then the others as you slowly looked back up onto the bedroom mirror.

... you have all of those things, and wonderful crewmates..
really, its anything you can ask for...

.. so tell me..

ive been taking along break recently, more than i should have,
but ive went through something during that break, which had to do with one of my friend groups.
