Yuna is walking to school in the morning when her phone vibrates with a message. She picks up her phone. It reads "Are you coming to our practice session tonight? We were supposed to be practicing at seven." Yuna smiles. She's been invited over to practice at a small acting company. They are looking for actors that would be good enough to audition on stage at their upcoming showcase. Yuna is excited, because they have a chance to shine in front of an audience. Her parents had been very supportive when she had told them about this opportunity.
"I'll be there. See you soon!" Yuna replied.
Yuna suddenly stops walking when she saw her friends waiting for her at the gate of school
. They greet her cheerfully and walk together to class. As they approach the classroom, someone starts singing... and they stop since theres a crowd of students watching.
Yuna frowns slightly as she looks at her friends. "Is something wrong?" she asks worriedly. "Who is performing in our class?" no one answered
so she walks to the door and peeks inside the classroom where she can see a girl singing and her friends cheering her on, Yuna thinks its not a big deal since its just another student singing, but she wondered what made the crowd so interested in her singing voice. Afterall, she knows a lot of people who sing better than her. And her friends didn't seem to care. So she decides that it doesnt matter.
She puts a bright smile on her face and greets everyone.
The next time, she sees the girl singing is at dinner with the rest of her classmates. She sees the group laughing and joking around. There are more people at dinner too, Yuna notices. And then she realizes that its a girl group she doesn't know.
She starts approaching them to ask questions, "What is this group?" she asks. The other girls laugh.
the girl says, "Youre so cute, don't worry! You're joining us too! Its our first official rehearsal" "I am? What kind of rehearsals are we doing?" Yuna asks confusedly. They are goimg to perform and she doesn't even know what to call her new group. "This is our first acting or play!we're a girl group that acts and dances while singing!!" the girl replies.
"Wait, wait you already debuted? dont you have to be trainees first?" Yuna asked confused .
The girl giggles, "No, we debut later. Its not like I'm gonna debut for real if I don't get my cast off. We're doing a show and Perfomance for idol activities. And anyway, it's not real life. It's just acting. It's not like our actual lives will be broadcast" the girl explains
"So im gonna be joining a girl group, and when we debut we'll star in a TV reality show?!" Yuna was excited but doubtful at the same time. "Well... yeah! Thats why it took us so long to come up with this idea. I think we've practiced enough now, right guys?" the girl asks looking at the others. The girls nod and agree. "Oh, we havent practiced with you yet, im sure your available 7pm later?"
"Im actually not available today 7pm for rehearsal, im gonna practice acting at 7pm with other actress trainees, and it seems im just an extra for this group. I mean, its just that you already practiced your dances, and your line in songs together!" Yuna said , confused
. "But we thought we could use some extra help with choreography and stuff. And besides, Im sure the director would appreciate it if you join too. He really likes you and wants you to join the production team! We all want you to" the girl explains
"Im sorry, im very skeptical about this i know we're an idol group, well not yet but im not really good at dancing." Yuna informed the girl , apologetically
"Oh don't worry! dancing isnt all about skills or stuffs like that, you have to enjoy it too! plus Japan loves cute girls, like us! im sure they'll focus on our faces rather than our talent" the girl bluntly said
"Oh, im not sure if thats a compliment but, ill give it a try?" Yuna said hesitantly "It's totally worth it, im sure of it! Im sure well get a great reaction once we put on the show!" the girl said smiling widely at Yuna
After school, Yuna goes home and does some research about the other members of her new group although they havent debuted yet theres already a website made for them.
They're called the 'Seven Stars'. Their main activity is promoting their drama 'Girls and Girls', which is basically a rerun of their debut act.
Their schedule is extremely flexible, they can spend a few weeks at a place and do a month at a different one, depending on how many times per week they perform. There are three shows a week, one every three days, one on Saturdays.
Yuna is excited to meet them tomorrow at practice, but she also fears meeting them. She was nervous about being in the presence of an idol group, especially if they are famous or even better known.
Well, Yuna put all her thoughts aside and wished for the best in the next day.
When Yuna got to practice after school, everyone is already there. The director introduces the members and tells them about the play. They talk about the story and how it is going to go. And then he tells them how to act during practice.
Yuna thinks to herself "so after acting we'll officially be a idol group? we'll dance and sing.. Hm, but not now! were still acting, i cant multitask." she thinks to herself
After the rehearsal, she asks the director how she should act while talking to a certain actor. "Just be yourself! Act natural! Im sure he'll find you interesting." the director told her, and then he walks away. Yuna shrugs and follows the rest of the group.
