The Party

Weeks passed after that scene with Ghost, and he continued to not talk with me or soap. I still didn't understand why. Even Soap didn't understand what's going on. But all of those weeks, Konig stayed by my side always, and I appreciate it.

Now it is the day of my retirement party I dreamed of this day with Ghost but that unexpected moment with him and his attitude the past few weeks made it impossible but I have my friends by my side and Konig. After that day, we became closer. He is a fun person more than I think. The way he makes an imitation of people with his German accent makes me laugh a lot. It's really funny. I think those my door knocked, and I stood up and opened it, and it was Konig.

''Hows my Prinzessin doing?'' He chuckled to himself as he adored me with his eyes.

''I'm good'' I said. I giggled and then let him in.

''You're leaving huh with your little Engel'' He chuckled but his tone was sad as he said and it made me upset a little but there was nothing I could do this was not the right place to have a baby.

''Yeah, I guess so, but I will pay a visit always, Konig.'' He smiled with his eyes and then sat on the couch.

''So what are you going to wear tonight mein Prinzessin'' He then lifts his mask to his nose to breathe more good, I think. Then I go to my room, grab two dresses on my dresser, and come back.   

''So which one do you think will be more good on me?'' I asked as he looked at the dresses, then stood up and walked to me. He was so close to me that I could feel his breath on my face, which made my cheeks go pink a little.

''Everything will go good on you, Schatz, but if you insist the one you holding on the right will be good on you.'' He then held my hair gently and kissed it. ''I will wait for you in here go and change okay'' He chuckles and sits back on the couch and I walk into my room close the door and change my clothes. I looked at the mirror and held my hair that Konig just kissed, and I started to play with it. He kissed it. He came and kissed my hair. Wow. I thought to myself, then I stopped as I saw the picture of me and Ghost. I started to think to myself Do I still love this man after what happened?  Then I stopped when the door knocked 

''Is everything okay, Schatz?'' He asked his tone a little bit worried. It's cute. I giggled to myself. That's when I realized. Do I like Konig? I mean he has a good personality and he helped me through that harsh moment and that day when he said ''If He won't I will be the father of your child'' The more I think about the more I blushed then I got myself after he knocked again 

''Y/n? Are you okay?'' His tone is more worried this time. Then I looked at the photo of me and Ghost and took it out and put it in my drawer. 

''Ah yes, just daydreaming'' I said as I closed the drawer. 

''It's okay...Hey, can I come in?'' His voice was a little bit nervous it made me giggle.

''Yeah, sure, come in'' I said as I continued to look at myself in the mirror he then came in and hugged me from behind and leaned to my ear 

''You look gorgeous mein Liebe'' The way he whispers to my ear makes me blush, and his breath tickles my ear. Is it a reward or torture? I thought as I giggled.- ''You look really beautiful as well, Konig''. I said as I looked both of us in the mirror.

 I don't know what he was thinking, but at that moment, we looked like a couple and I didn't dislike it. Me and Ghost didn't break up, so I shouldn't have thought these, I thought. So I tried to push those thoughts away but the way he acted and the way he hugged me made it really difficult. 

''Danke mein Liebe'' He said then caressed my belly -'' You look beautiful in every shape you have so don't worry'' He then kissed my cheek and zipped my dress -'' I'll be in the front door'' He then walked to front door and I watched him go. At that moment something inside me didn't want him to go. I wanted him to stay with me but I couldn't say anything and I only watched him leave. 

After some time I came with the dress he chose and I opened the door finding him holding a red rose. -'' I thought it would be suited for you mein Engel'' He said as he gave me the rose and I smelled it 

 '' It's beautiful Konig thank you'' Then I got on my toes and kissed his cheek and I could see from his eyes that he was surprised a lot and blushed. He then touched his cheek and looked at me

 '' I think an Engel kissed me'' he said then chuckled and hugged me then he lifted me in his arms - '' Then let's go before they eat all of the good stuff'' He chuckled and walked to the party while he carried me. 

We then came to the party and I could feel some of the soldier's eyes were on us and it made me nervous a little. Konig realized that and held my hand tight. 

'' Everything will be good Y/n don't worry'' Then we smiled at each other and walked to that party. 

Price made a speech as we stood and listened. He didn't say the reason why I was leaving so the soldiers were on me asking why I was leaving it made me stress more. Konig noticed it and stayed by my side changing the topic and reminding the funny moments we had together as a team. 

Most of the party was really great but the thing that caught my eye was that Ghost was with another girl soldier did he really forget me that easily. It broke my heart. Then I excuse myself to go to the bathroom. I looked at myself trying to change my thoughts but it was hard so hard but I had to do it. 

'' I have to tell him'' I thought loud and decided to say to him that. I'm pregnant 

I left the bathroom and walked to the party but while I was walking I heard the sound of a familiar one and when I went to check it. I saw him. Ghost kissing another girl.
