13: FORBIDDEN DESIRE

"Hey Chan, I've got something important to tell you," Sana said, rushing into Bang Chan's room.

"What's up?" He asked, confused. Sana locked the door behind her.

"What's wrong?" He went to open the door.

"Just listen!" Sana pushed him back.

"Alright, tell me!"

"I think I'm falling for someone," Sana said excitedly.

"Yikes, good luck with that. Now leave me alone!"

"No, you have to hear who it is!"

"Ugh fine, who is it?" Bang Chan rolled his eyes.

"It's Tzuyu,"

"What?! No way!" Bang Chan shouted in disbelief.

"I'm serious... I really like her!" Sana cried.

"No way, that'll never happen. She's engaged to Momo!" Bang Chan flicked her forehead.

"But I have feelings for her,"

"Well bury that thing under six feet right now! Cause if the king finds out he's gonna rip off your head,"

"Bro please," Sana pleaded, holding his hands.

"I'm natch your bro?! I don't even know you! You're your own! Bye bye sis,"

He opened the door to leave.

"Hey, why am I the one leaving? Get out of my room!" He came back and pushed Sana out, closing the door behind her.

Mina was at Jihyo's place all day, helping out and talking about her childhood. The sun was about to set, and she watched as Yn packed her stuff.

"So, you're leaving tomorrow?" She asked

"sure I am," Yn buttoned her luggage.

Mina's face fell. Yn wandered around looking for something.

Nothing seemed to satisfy Sana as she roamed their room restlessly. Unable to sit still, they decided to return to Bang Chan, hoping he would provide a distraction.

As She made her way back, Sana happened upon Tzuyu in the garden. They spotted each other from opposite ends of the bridge. Tzuyu motioned for Sana to come keep her company. Wondering what Tzuyu wanted, Sana crossed the bridge to join her.

"Why are you standing here all alone," Sana asked

Tzuyu pointed out the fish in the tank to Sana. Sana smiled as they stood there watching the fish and listening to the music Felix was playing in the nearby music room.

Sana began humming along to the piano notes, which Tzuyu seemed to enjoy.

"Do you know how to dance?" Sana asked.

"How could I not know?" Tzuyu chuckled.

The two girls looked at each other and giggled.

"Come on," Tzuyu smiled.

They joined hands, with Sana placing her right hand on Tzuyu's shoulder as Tzuyu wrapped her arm around Sana's waist. They began gently swaying to the music.

"I like you," Tzuyu whispered in Sana's ear as they danced.

They stopped dancing and took a moment to look at each other.

"What?" Sana's eyes began to water as she realized she might ruin everything.

Tzuyu looked down at Sana's lips and gave her a small peck.

"I like you a lot, Princess Minatozaki Sana. I'm taking my feelings for you more seriously," Tzuyu said.

"Eh?" Sana responded.

Tzuyu put on a serious face. "Miss Minatozaki, I'm saying that I like you!" she said while shaking Sana gently.

"I need to think about it," Sana replied.

"Yes, take your time," Tzuyu said.

Sana nodded and slowly walked away.

Sana bursts into Bang Chan's room. "What's up?" he asks, sitting up in bed.

"You suck!" she replies.

"No, you suck! Get out of my room already!" He throws a pillow at her but she catches it.

"I hate you!" Sana plops down on his bed with a huff.

"What happened?" Bang Chan shouts.

"Tzuyu likes me!" I cried, hugging a pillow close.
"What do you mean she likes you?"

"SHE LIKES ME LIKES ME!!"

Bang Chan sits next to her and pats her head. "So reject her, dummy!"

"I can't!!! I fell for her too!"

"It's just a silly crush, you'll get over it trust me!"

Sana sits up and pouts. "We messed up.

"There is no 'we', it's your problem"

"What do we do now!?"

"I don't know~ Talk to Momo about it," he suggests.

"You're right, I need to tell Momo!"

"Even if Momo is cool with it, you gotta tell The King. How will you convince him?"

"I don't know... aybe I'll run away with her," Sana says with a grin.

"Hmm bye! I'm going to talk to Momo right now," Sana says as she leaves.

Mina was about to leave but then Yn grabbed her wrist.

"Why leaving soon?" She asked

"its getting dark," Mina said

"So...?" Yn smiled and stepped closer to her.

Mina took a step back and found herself pressed against the door. Yn had pinned her there, hands moving behind Mina to lock the door. She then pulled Mina closer, holding her waist. Mina swallowed hard, her eyes locked with Yn's gaze. Yn glanced down at Mina's lips for a moment. An intense silence hung in the air between them.

Mina didn't waste any time. She grabbed Yn by the collar and went in for a kiss. But Yn pulled away, leaving things feeling pretty awkward. Mina was definitely embarrassed. Yn turned around and walked away, not sure what to say or do in that situation.

It all happened so fast! Mina was left there wondering what just went down and how she could have possibly read the signs so wrongly. Oh well, no use dwelling on it now. Maybe she'll have better luck next time.

"Mina gently said "I'm sorry.

Yn asked "Would you like some coffee?"

"Ehh? Um no thank you," she replied.

"I asked!! Would you like some coffee?!" Yn's voice got louder.

"Um. . yes," Mina seemed a little frightened now.

Yn had made her some coffee, which was nice of course, but the way Yn was looking at her was just so intense! Mina could tell Y/n was still upset about what happened between them.

She took a sip of coffee but was having a hard time relaxing. With Yn staring daggers at her, it was no wonder she was on edge. Mina set the cup down on the table, hoping it would give her hands something to do besides shake. But Y/n just kept glaring. It was really starting to get to Mina.

Before long, Mina was feeling downright dizzy. She didn't know how much more of Yn's death stare she could take. All the stress and anxiety must have really worn her out, because pretty soon Mina found herself collapsing onto the bed, exhausted. She closed her eyes, hoping she could escape Yn's intense gaze, even if only for a little while.
