After hearing Scar saying they were the enemies, the main hyenas, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed, do a little thinking back. They realize that things are worse under Scar than Mufasa, and regret his death. Thankfully, Mufasa's son, Simba, is the king, the TR...
Banzai and Ed ran towards where the clan was fighting the Lions, with Shenzi not to far behind.
"Stop the fighting!" Banzai yells. "The Lions are not the enemies!"
The Hyena clan stopped their fighting and looks at the 2 confusingly.
"What?" Nala says, only a few meters away from the main 2.
"You heard him," said Shenzi, finally caught up to the other 2 "Simba and his clan, are not our true enemies."
Many Hyenas muttered, "Huh?" "What?"
"Scar is our king, though!" one Hyena said, "Simba and Mufasa was always our enemies. Scar gave us everything we wanted."
"But not for long." Shenzi said, "We ran out of food and water, remember? We tried to tell Scar that, but he didn't listen to us."
"Yeah" Banzai said, "He told us to get out when we told him that we were hungry."
The Hyena clan looks at each other and the lions do the same.
"That's not all though," Said Shenzi, "We overheard what Scar said when he was confronted by Simba. He said that all this planning, everything we did, was our fault. It was our idea. We were the true enemies."
The clan gasps and the lions raised their eye brows.
"Um.." another hyena said, "Wasn't it us who wanted some food?"
"Food! But that's it!" Shenzi said in an angry voice, the hyena crouches a little "We didn't plan out everything else! Scar is our true enemy, not Simba! Nor... Mufasa!"
The Hyenas muttered, "Mufasa..?"
Zazu, who was cornered by 3 hyenas, flies towards the main 3. He flies on top of Nala.
"Are you three feeling alright?" Zazu said, with his left eye closed and is right scanning them, "The stuff you're saying, it quite unbelievable."
"Yeah, we're kinda surprised ourselves." Banzai said. "But it's true, and we also realized something."
"Realize?" Said Zazu.
"We realize that Mufasa was the true king. The king that didn't do things wrongly.
"Well little too late, don't you think?" Said Zazu in a somewhat snarky way.
Shenzi and Banzai growled at him, Zazu got nervous. "Uhh.. I mean! It's good that you realize that now! But, what made you realize that..?"
"When Scar made the lions overhunt," Said Shenzi, "And when Scar said that we were the enemies. It kinda punched us in the gut when he said that."
The Hyena clan looked down in sorrow. The lions, including Nala, felt a bit bad for the hyenas.
"...We were just hungry and desperate." Shenzi said, her voice turned soft and she looked down and lowered her head. If we just had some food, we would've left you guys alone... we didn't realize it before... but we realize now... I'm sorry... for all the trouble we caused..."
Everyone looked at the main three with sad eyes. Shenzi's voice started to break a little. Banzai puts his paw on Shenzi's shoulder.
"It's understandable if you don't forgive us... or don't believe us... but.."
"No, no, no" Nala interrupted, "I believe you! It sounds like you guys are really sorry.."
Shenzi smiles a little at Nala, but then her smile faded a bit as she looked down.
"This will prove our forgiveness.." She said, "..hyenas..? Are you guys still hungry."
The Hyenas nod. Ed nods along with them.
"Then follow me. Today, we attacked. We kill. We eat, the king."
"The TrUe KiNg!" Banzai said in a mocking voice. Everyone laughs.
"You guys aren't bad!" Zazu said in a happy tone, "Well, I mean. Your actions in the past were beyond bad," The main 3 frown a bit, "But! I see potential in you 3. In all of you."
The hyenas smile. "Thanks, Zazu." Shenzi said quietly and gently. "Alright, hyenas. It's time for vengeance. It's time for the rightful king to take his spot! And it's time for OUR king to take a piece of his own medicine..."
The Hyenas whoop with excitement. The Hyenas run where Scar is, with Shenzi taking the lead.
"Scar..." Shenzi said, in a determined voice. "I shutter when I hear your name... Enjoy your last minutes of being alive... Because we hyenas are hungry for vengeance!!"
The hyenas whoop and run faster, itching to get to Scar.
