*Short Chapter to Conclude the first*

The Queen of Velahal and the Golden Commander of Parral stood toe to toe and only glared at each other. Both smiling devilish grins waiting on the other to make the first move. Danielle's eyes, which were normally pools of deep gray, were glowing purple. Danielle snapped her fingers, activating her magic. Large bat wings sprang from her back and her fangs grew. Her nails even seemed to sharpen. Her long dark brown hair was now a bright blonde. Her aura was a dark red as it flurried and swirled around her. Magical energy was normally invisible but hers was so powerful it could be seen by everyone watching. Shawn seemed calm as he clapped his hands together. His aura was golden and rose into the air just as hers did. The stadium began to shake from the power of these individuals. "That vampiric form? It suits you sister." Shawn said summoning his sword using magic. "I am a Velkin, an S class demi human and one of the few that remain alive. We are nearly extinct as you know all too well." She responded. The Velkin were demi humans who could change into a form that was still human like but beastial; the Wolf, Lion, and Vampire forms of Velkin were the rarest and strongest.

The two finally after minutes finish powering up to their full capacity. Shawn clapped his hands together and a magic circle appeared below Danielle. She looked at it and then laughed which threw him off. Her glowing eyes were fixed on his hands and she mimicked him. A circle appeared under his feet as well. Both yelled Explosion in unison. The crowd was left in awe as the two took no effect from the high level explosion magic used.

The Army of the Immortal King stood in wait as the Mad King of Velahal marched his men across the borders of Aporia. The Mad King Daniel T. Ronin was a Velkin warrior who had grown drunk with power. He sought the Ring of Immortality that was held by the Immortal King. The man was gifted by the gods who forged a ring to give him the power of one worthy enough to be their champion. King Daniel roared a mighty roar sending his army into a chaotic charge at the tens of thousands of Demihumans that awaited them. Both armies consisted of Demi human men and women. The armies clashed and the Mad King had the upper hand. He brought over 100,000 more men with him and his army was far more formidable than that of the Immortal King. As the battle roared on the Immortal King found himself surrounded with only a few hundred men left. He knelt down and began to pray to the Gods. After his prayer he stood up and looked at the ring on his hand. He lifted his sword to signal a final push hoping to reach Daniel. The ground shook and 6 pillars of fire separated the armies. In each pillar a person appeared. The men behind the Immortal King erupted in cries and cheers as they saw their King's students had arrived. The warriors stood weapons drawn as the Mad King approached his front lines to see what had halted his advance. He smirked as he felt he anticipated their arrival. "Nephtali Kahn, the crown prince of Parrall; Derreyon Byrd, bastard child to the Johnson's Noble family; Braden Black, Velkin like myself and a powerful one; Shawn Johnson, the warrior who can control elements without the use of magic; Princess Danielle, My own beloved daughter and former heir to my throne; And finally her betrothed Prince Aubrey of Diemstros, a Demon lord in human skin. You are a mighty group and I see you have my men shaking. So I will be your opponent, Defeat me and My throne goes to my daughter" The Mad King spoke to them so loudly the entire battlefield could hear it.

Present Day

"Just like old times?" Shawn taunted as he charged the Vampiric Queen of Velahal. He slashed at her with his sword but her dodges were so graceful and smooth it looked like she moved her body with little to no effort at all. She drew her katana from her side and attacked back. The crowd was silently watching this battle unfold as legends clashed. Shawn cast spell after spell only to have it met with a spell to counter it each time. "Those eyes are a problem" He said, realizing he was running low on magical energy. She scoffed at him and dropped her sword. Shawn had no idea what to think so he lowered his guard. She sprang onto him, sinking her teeth into his neck. She only drank a small amount but it was more than enough. Shawn using his right arm back handed her off of him, sending her into the air. Using her wings she rebounded herself and wiped her mouth. "Your eyes can copy any spell I cast and break down magical circles so you can counter them faster than a normal human could blink." Shawn said, revealing the secret to her purple glowing eyes. The amount of memory he had was still so fascinating to him. But he was in a battle so he had to focus on the task, deciding to think more about his new life and situation later, he clapped his hands together and this time no magic circle appeared. He held out his arm and opened his fist. Flames shot out of his hand in force and went barreling towards Danielle in the sky. Her wings seemed to guide her as she effortlessly dodged again but the flames would not stop. Shawn had extended the duration of the blast and followed her even with how fast she could move. Her Aura started to glow red as she outstretched both of her arms towards his flames and sent her own towards him. "Amaterasu Goddess of Light" She yelled and her spell activated immediately sending a torrent of black and red flames towards Shawn. Her flames seemed to devour his over time. Neph looked unphased as the two were just playing around in his eyes. No one knew the two better than he did after all. But to the crowd of the arena these two were displaying power they could only dream of ever witnessing. Shawn stamped the ground and created a barrier out of stone and mud from the arena floor. The Impact of the flames hitting the wall caused a shake so powerful it felt as if the Kingdom was being ravaged by an earthquake. Shawn held the wall for as long as his magical power lasted. Before he was forced to let go he yelled out to her. "Alright I concede."

Powering down the Queen composed herself and reinstated her elegance. She was the victor of the Tournament of Kings.
