♡| 6 Days.

    "Zhen Kai?" Shi Feng questioned for his friend who was sitting across from him at the lunch table.
  The boy perked his head up and tilted his head.
   "Should I ask Yao Yao for her Weibo?" Shi Feng scratched the back of his head.

"Heh, Yao Yao?" Wei Wei scoffed.
"Hey, she's actually cute; not my type, though." Another boy from the basketball team, Xiao-Yu, tapped his chopsticks on Wei Wei's head.

   "Um, ask her if you want." Zhen Kai picked at his rice. "I don't care."
   "Okay! I'll go ask her right now then." Shi Feng got out his seat and walked over to Yao Yao, who was sitting with Xin-yan and their other friends.
He took a seat next to the girl and took his phone out.
 
   "Do you have a Weibo, Yao Yao? I want to add you 'cause we're friends now!" The curly haired boy's eyes sparkled.
  "Mmh, yeah!" Yao Yao set her chopsticks down and grabbed his phone to type in her username.

    "Oooh~," Jeiai, one of Xin-yan's friends, teased.
  "Oh, shh," Yao Yao rolled her eyes.
   "Thanks, enjoy your lunch, you ladies too!" Shi Feng patted Yao Yao's head and got up to go back to his friends.

   Lunch was over, and Shi Feng and Zhen Kai made their way to their class when they were stopped by a girl. She had her head down and held out a letter for Shi Feng.

   "I'm sorry - I can't take this." The boy awkwardly laughed.
  "Please, just take it!" The girl cried out.
  Shi Feng sighed and took it. He was used to girls confessing to him, so this was nothing new.
   The girl noticed his sigh and bit her lip.

   "When will girls like her take a hint? She's a nobody." A boy laughed as he walked past with his girlfriend. Everyone in the hallway was looking at the girl in front of the two friends.
   "Hey, don't listen to them." Shi Feng tried to comfort the girl who was visibly embarrassed. He showed her a sorry smile and opened the letter.
   The girl gasped and ran away as he did so.

   "Stop pitying them. Only makes it worse." Zhen Kai walked off.
   "Hey! I don't want to be a jerk." The curly haired boy huffed.
   Zhen Kai gave his friend a look and scoffed.

    "Most emotion I've seen out of you all day. Anyway, are you ready for the trip next week? You're going, right?" Shi Feng swung his arm around Kai.

"Yeah." The boy answered.

  "I'm glad it's not the military trip again. We're going to the mountains."

"Yeah." Zhen Kai answered again.

  Shi Feng took it as his sign to stop talking.

   "Okay, class, you've probably already heard of this, but we will be doing our annual grade field trip to the mountains this year!" Yao Yao's homeroom teacher, Mrs. Liu announced. The entire class clapped.

   "I'm so excited!" Yao Yao's desk mate, a girl named Nina smiled at Yao Yao. "I've never been to a mountain before."

   "Are you new to this school too?" Yao Yao happily asked the girl.
  "Yeah! I'm from the U.S!" The girl held Yao Yao's hands out of instinct, and the two girls excitedly waved their arms in circles.

   "It's in 6 days, so get your permission slips in and your bags prepared." Mrs. Liu continued to speak. "The transportation and living fee is 364.98 CYN. Also bring your own spending money but the school will be covering for the rest. Thank you." Mrs. Liu finished up.

  "Thank you, Mrs. Liu!" The class showed appreciation to their teacher.

    A couple of hours passed, and it was now the end of the school day. Xin-yan and Yao Yao decided they were going to go study after school in the library.
  The two settled in a seat and started talking about the trip as they did their work.

   "Is it going to be cold?" Yao Yao asked.
   "Only a little. It's not fall yet, so some days might be hot too." Xin-yan answered.
   "How many days was the trip again?" Yao Yao asked again.
    "It'll be a week long." Xin-yan nodded as she remembered correctly. 
   Yao Yao nodded like a little copycat, and the two girls laughed.
   They turned their heads as they saw two figures approach them.
 
"Can we sit here?" Shi Feng was dragging Zhen Kai by the collar.
  "Who's we?"

Yao Yao giggled. "You guys are so stupid. Yeah, sit here, whatever."

   Shi Feng smiled and let go of his annoyed friend.

   Yao Yao and Xin-yan were sitting opposite of each other, so Zhen Kai took a seat next to Yao Yao, which gave Shi Feng the last seat next to Xin-yan.
   The curly haired boy made a quick glare at his black haired friend which only earned him an eyebrow raise in return.
