"Deep within the human mind there is always something dark and twisted festering its way to the surface waiting to be unleashed. Whether or not you act upon those evils is up to you"

A teenager named Trent is explaining a story to a detective. Trent had just been involved in a tragic accident. He explains what happens to the detectives.

There once was a boy named Henry who lived in a cabin in the woods. You may think you've heard a story such as this , but you have never heard it told like this so bare with me if you will. Henry would have been your average teenage boy. He had loving parents. He had a great personality, but there was one thing that was wrong with Henry. He had a rare disease that disfigured he face. He was so hideous to look at. One could not look at him for very long without being scared to death...or scarred for life. Henry tried his best to go on as best as he could. He tried to just be normal. But as long as he looked the way he did...that was never going to happen. The other teenagers at his school treated him with no respect. They harassed him. They called him names. They tormented him so bad that he'd come home crying every day.

"Are you going to tell us what happened out there in those woods boy or are you gonna waste our time with this stupid legend" Detective Brad says.

"Let me finish. This is important. You have to understand in order for what happened out there to make sense detective"

"Continue"

Trent continues his story.

One day on a brisk October night six girls came up with a pact. They were going to tell their parents that Henry had individually raped them. They wanted Henry to get in trouble. These girls were so awful to Henry. The whole school tormented Henry. Just because of his facial disease. It was something he couldn't help. So, the girls continued to tell their parents that Henry had raped them. They each said they just now had the nerve to talk about it. The parents were outraged. They believed the girls because they to had suspicions that Henry was a troublesome teen...just. Because. Of. His. Face. That's no reason to judge a person.

Now, Henry lived in the cabin in the woods like I mentioned earlier. The parents knew this too. They were so outraged that they went to the cabin and torched it on fire. The girls ran and tried to stop the parents. They screamed it was only a joke. They begged and pleaded their fathers and mothers to put the fire out. Only it was to late. The cabin was already engulfed in flames. The flames tackled the boards snaking their way up the columns. The cabin buckled and shook and crashed to the ground. The parents and six girls all stood around it in awe watching the cabin go down. It was to late. The girls faces streaked with tears. But isn't this what they had wanted all along? The parents felt so guilty for not investigating the accusations further. They vowed to never speak of this. They tried to go on with their lives. But....there's something they didn't know...Henry wasn't in his cabin when it burned down. His parents were though. Henry had been in the woods hunting. He finally finished up and was walking back to the cabin to show his parents the deer he had shot. When he came upon his cabin he saw it was in flames. Nearly burnt down. Henry was furious. He grasped the ax in his hands and was changed forever. He wanted revenge. At least that's how the story goes anyways.

"So what does that story have anything to do with what happened?" The detective said.

That's the story a friend had told me when we went out here to these parts. Of course I didn't believe it....my friends and I were just looking for a place to party and have fun. I never would have thought HE would have been real. I never would have thought HE would have killed my friends that night....it just seems to bizarre.

"So you're saying you think Henry killed your friends? In the woods? Where this supposedly Henry guy lurks seeking revenge on anyone who comes on his land"

That's exactly what I'm saying detective.

"I think you're lying"

"I think you're right." A sly smirk crosses Trent's face. He doesn't look normal anymore. Something has changed. It's as though something sinister had been released through his body.

"Excuse me?" The detective replied.

"It was a good story huh? The whole Henry backstory and legend. And how he killed my friends in the woods. Damn that would make one hell of a movie wouldn't it? I planned this out so well. Everything is going as planned"

"What are you talking about?" The detective asked confused.

"None of that happened. Henry isn't real. I made it all up. I wanted to make the story more interesting if you will. I killed my friends. Took them in the woods and murdered them. Recorded it too. I'm trying to make the most terrifying film of any film that's out there. What's more terrifying then real murders detective"

"You're psycho"

"Oh detective...we're all a little psycho. Don't you know that? It's just...in some people the monster within lies dormant...I just chose to act upon it."

Trent jumps out of his chair and pulls a knife out of his pocket. He slits the detectives throat. Trent changes into the detectives outfit and walks out of the station. He gets into the vehicle.

Trent drives for a long time until he comes to a dirt road leading into the woods. He drives until he comes across this cabin that looks as though it has been severly burned. He parks the vehicle there. He walks into the cabin. Laying on a wooden bench is a face of a person who looked as though they had a facial disease. Trent put this face onto his face. He grabbed the axe off of a nearby rack and pulled the camcorder from his pocket. Trent exited the cabin and walked into the woods. In the distance was a fire burning bright. Teenagers danced and partied around...they never suspected that this would be the night that the woods would run red with their blood. Trent laughed as he walked into the woods after them.
