"not gonna congratulate me?" charles smirks at the verstappen girl. "is carlos around? he'll say i'm distracting you" yasmin groans. "i'm sorry about him" charles smiles. "anyways, congratulations charlie!" yasmin smiles and hugs the ferrari driver. "proud of you" "thank you yas" charles smiles as he hugs the girl back. "i've missed this" "yeah me too" yasmin sighs into the hug. the pair pull away, but charles grabs yasmins hand. "i really am sorry for everything yasmin. i mean it. i'm sorry i ruined us" "let's just forget about it please. i don't want to keep thinking about the past" yasmin sadly smiles. "i just want to forget the pain and it all" charles sighs and places a hand on yasmins cheek, he slowly leans in, looking for any sign that yasmin doesn't want this. but when he sees she isn't pulling back, he bites the bullet and kisses her. yasmin is shocked but kisses the ferrari driver back. she wraps her arms around his neck and charles puts his hands on her waist. the pair only pull away when they need air. foreheads touching.
